The Rev. Edward Skane, pastor said Tuesday that 200 persons had attended the Pentecostal Sunday School. November 26, breaking a 46-year old record; Attendance for last Sunday was reported at 203.
Most of those who attended the Sunday school are children.
The church membership is approximately 250.
As for the Sunday school the Rev. Mr. Skane said, "We're hoping for 300 around Christmas."
Mr. Skane arrived here September 1 [1961] from Calvary Temple at Malden, Mass.
Washburn' Pentecostal Church is the oldest Pentecostal Church in northern New England, and is considered the mother of Pentecostal Churches in that region.
