WASHBURN--Taterstate Frozen Foods of Washburn, processors of frozen french fried potatoes and other frozen potato products, honored its senior employees last week at a recognition dinner held in the private dining room of the Northeastland Hotel, Presque Isle, Maine.
Fifty-four of its 205 employees had qualified for the 10 year service pin and the dinner was given in their honor.
Taterstate's president, Edmund Robbins gave the welcoming address. The founder and chairman of the board, Harry E. Umphrey was the main speaker General Manager Donald Langley introduced each employee and officiated with the presentation of awards. Sherwood G. Kelso, office manager. was in charge of the arrangements and program.
