NEW ADDITION -- The Washburn Fire Department has made a new addition to its equipment by acquiring a new combination pump and tank truck this week. The new International truck with a LaFrance Pumper and body has a capacity of pumping 750 gallons per minute and has a two stage centrifugal pump. It holds 750 gallons of water and has been approved by the Fire Underwriters. Funds for this truck was voted at the Washburn Town Meeting held in March and gives the Department four trucks. The department services Wade and Perham as well as Washburn.
