WASHBURN MAN FETED AT 80 YEARS

WASHBURN--Birthday tunes were in the air at the home of James Corapi here Oct. 18 as he was honored on his 80th birthday with a birthday cake and refreshments.

Corapi was born Oct. 18. 1886 in Catanzaro, Italy. He has been in the grocery business in Washburn for 52 years.

He has two sisters and one brother living in Italy; four childrcn, .lames Jr., Mrs. Norma Hitchcock of Washburn, Gary of Milford, Conn., and Mrs. Patricia Moccia of Orange Conn.; five step-children, Mrs. Lila Martin, Mrs. Gloria Wilcox, Mrs. Betty Jones of Washburn, Frankie Orr of Delaware and Ollie Webber Jr., of New Hampshire, 13 grandchildren, 20 step-grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Gifts and cards Were presented to him and he also received phone calls from his children who live away.

Guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Jones and Jerry; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Libby, Alden Wilcox, Denny Wilcox, Mrs. Anna Clayton, and Mrs. Jean Schoeff.
