Kent E. Silver will deliver the valedictory and Miss Carlene Bondeson the salutatory address.
Silver, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Silver of Wade, plans to attend the University of Maine and major in political science. Silver has played baseball, soccer and volleyball; took part in the Freshman-Sophomore Speaking and Junior Exhibition; is a member of the yearbook staff, Hi-Y Club, French Club, National Honor Society, Future Teachers Club, President of the Science Club
and member of the senior play cast.
He attended the summer program for high school juniors last year at the University of Maine.
Miss Bondeson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bondeson of Perham, plans to attend Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Presque Isle and will major in secretarial science. Miss Bondeson is business manager of the yearbook, president of F.B.L.A.; was a Girl's State delegate her junior year; member and treasurer of the National Honor Society; memher of Student Council. in grade 9, Manager of the school magazine campaign, and is secretary of the senior class.
Others having honor parts in commencement exercises are Miss Ruth Crouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Crouse of Crouseville, who plans to attend Berkshire Christian College in Lenox, Mass.; Steven Sparks, son of Reverend and Mrs. Lloyd Sparks, who plans to attend Zion Bible Institute, E. Providence, R.I.; Harry Blackstone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Blackstone of Perham, who plans to attend Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C.; Miss Janice Huston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perley Huston, who plans to attend N.M.V.T.I. in Presque Isle to major in practical nursing; Clayton Blackstone Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Blackstone, Sr. of Perham, who plans to attend Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C.
Also, Miss Corinne Conley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Conley; Miss Rhonda Maynard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Maynard, who will attend Aroostook State College
in Presque Isle; Vaughn Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Campbell, plans to attend the University of Maine.
Graduation exercises will be held June 13.
