Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fox
A ceramic silver anniversary plate was presented to the couple by Roger McLaughlin, along with many cards. The plate featured the year they were married, 1948, and the present year, two silver bells, their first names in silver and raised hands (the woman's hand resting on the man's).
Assisting the hostess, Mrs. Carolyn McLaughlin, with refreshments were: Mrs. Alma McLellan, coffee; Miss Dawne McLellan, punch; Mrs. Gwen Fletcher, Mrs. Claire Wilcox and Mrs. Eva Wood.
Mr. and Mrs. Fox have three children, all of whom were able to attend: son Larry and wife, Sylvia, son Curtis and wife, Paula, and daughter Charlotte.
Over 50 persons attended from Chapman, Mapleton, Presque Isle, Wade, Washburn and Perham.
During the Sunday morning service the senior choir dedicated a song entitled "Above All Else" to the couple.
