The renewal of their vows was heard by Rev. Howard Roberts, pastor of the church, in a double ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her daughters, Misses Colleen and Kim Meister and her future son-in-law, Larry Blackstone, wore a floor length bridal gown of yellow crepe with lace insert. She carried yellow roses and sweet peas.
She was attended by Mrs. Phyllis Blackstone, who wore a floor length gown of blue-dotted swiss voile. She carried a nosegay of blue iris and yellow mums with blue and yellow streamers.
Her bridesmaids were her daughters, Misses Colleen and Kim Meister, who wore floor length blue-dove skin satin gowns with blue and yellow print insets and ruffles. The nosegays they carried were similar to that of the matron of honor.
The bridegroom was attended by Wendell Blackstone. Mrs. Emma Dow was organist. Mrs. Sylvia Fox, soloist, sang "O Perfect Love" and "Together Love's Pathway We Tread," and a duet by Mrs. Fox and Miss Sheari Johnson, "Sweetest Story Ever Told" was sung during the ceremony.
Ushers were Larry Fox and Lewis Griffeth.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Harold Marden and Gordon Wilcox. The bridegroom is the son of Roy Meister.
Mrs. Meister has been self employed as a hairdresser in Washburn and Mr. Meister is a conductor for the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad.
The church was decorated with yellow, blue and white carnations.
Miss Darlene James was in charge of the guest book and Miss Carlene Bondeson presided at the gift table.
A reception was held in the church dining room. Mrs. Harriet Holts cut the cake. Beth Roberts tended the punch bowl.
Assisting with serving were Mrs. Rowena Maynard, Mrs. Glenna Blackstone. Mrs. Ruth James and other ladies of the church.
