Refined Darkness: ::He was sitting alone besides the fire, contemplating on the events that had occured recently. A blood trail was visible from behind the bar, and leading into another room. He had killed that poor fool the other night for smacking that homeless child for no reason. The fire was becoming weaker by the second. He pulled that trenchcoat around him a little tighter, an emotionless look upon his wind beaten face. A sigh escaped him as he
Jessiah Ramsus has entered the room.
Refined Darkness: moved closer towards the dieing fire. His belongings were all piled atop a table next to him. Any fool that tried to take them would end up with a missing hand.::
SadieSabre: *She walks down the street, shivering and bare foot. She was being soaked with the rain. She stopped, and leaned back against a wall, coughing hard. Her chest hurt. . She was about five, her hair was straight ebony locks, reaching the middle of her shoulders. Her eyes were like the sea after a storm, pure blue. She wore only a dirty white dress, with two ribbons on either shoulder, tired in bows, holding it onto her little form.
SadieSabre: Slowly she slid down the wall, and sat down on the cold wet ground, shivering, and coughing again, this time much harder. She was leaning against the outside of a tavern. She didn't feel good at all. Slowly she stood and shakily entered the tavern, sliding down on the floor, a puddle forming around her small body as
SadieSabre: she coughed again, her entire form shaking with it this time*
Kayura Mythril: ::roars up on her harley and brakes by the tavern door, cutting the engine and getting off. Quickly, she saunters through the doorway, trying not to get wet from the rain. Her black high heels click upon the floor as she entered into the room and shook off the rain, looking around at the fellow occupants with ice blue eyes::
Desta Darkhaven: *quietly she walked through the streets ((kicking her keyboard the whole way...)) her ebon wings wrapped tightly around her body as she moved through the darkness, her silver eyes the only thing to be seen on her*
Agito Xoajhen: :: walks around mindlessy trying to figure out what ff stands for ::
Kayura Mythril: ::Not wanting to be in everyone's way, or mainly the fact that she was blocking the doorway, she walked over to a chair by the door and sat down, watching people enter, hoping to see someone she knows::
Demonic Yamcha: ::A demonic being, quickly moving towards the tavern, seeming to hover a few feet off the ground, his aura showing his high powered life force, in a bright yellowey gold colour. It seemed to flash round him like a flame, the large area near his head contracting into a small little tip. As he approached the tavern he folded his small wings
Demonic Yamcha: behind his back. Falling out the air he seemed to tumble through the door of the tavern, to roll across the floor. Jumping onto his feet his long black locks flicked behind him showing his black opals which were his glassy eyes. He owned a scarred face and a red gi which covered his chest and legs. Then his wings propped up
Demonic Yamcha: slightly, very small for the bulky body of Yamcha. They showed how Yamcha was a demon, although Yamcha found them irritable and wanted to rip them off, but physically impossible. Growling slightly the demon motioned over to a corner, where he took a shaded seat, away from the bustle.::
Refined Darkness: ::He rubbed his hands together for a small temporary fix of the cold. The friction created by it warmed him just a little bit. He slowly took his katan, which was in it's sheath, "Death" in hand. He could remember the temporary thrill of slitting that man's throat, even though he would never admit that to anyone. Things weren't what they appeared to be with him. His right hand clutched onto a chair leg nearby and snapped it off, throwing it
Refined Darkness: into the fire. He could see the small girl from the night before, who the tender had struck from the corner of one of his eye. A small smile appeared on his face.::
SadieSabre: *Her coughing grew steadily worse, and louder, it seeming to echo in her lungs. Just when she thought she was going to pass out, the coughing slowly lessened, and then died away, leaving her laying exausted, small chest heaving for breath, hardly able to move.*
Desta Darkhaven: *quietly she slid through the streets her feet barely touching the earth before she stood behind Sadie and kneeled beside the small girl.* Poor Angel..Come..*for someone as old as she was she picked up the five year old and cradled her in the mass of black wings, sheltering her from the rain and continued on towards the light at the corner*
Jessiah Ramsus: ::Oh!!!! A demon!!! Looks like Jess could lay off of "Akari's rats" and catch a nice pure meal. There were others around, but he prefered pure blood, be it good or evil, over anything else. Thus making demons and angels, and anything else of the sort, Jessiah's favorite meals.
Jessiah Ramsus: Jessiah remained in the shadows of the shakey and ready to fall apart rafters. He was dressed almost formally, a pressed white dress shirt, black tie, and a long tailed black cotton trench style jacket, the ends hanging down below the rafters and swaying in whatever wind blew through the place. Silently, he made himself comfortable.. and waited::
Izydor Telvecho: ::He felt a slight cough coming on so he clenched his fist together and pressed it to his mouth. As he coughed he realized a crimson liquid imerging from his lips. He could taste blood shooting itself from his lungs. Once he stopped he looked at his hands in awe which were covered in it. He looked quite pale now as he then took a small rag from his top vest pocket and whiped it and dropped it back in. He blinked a bit faster
Izydor Telvecho: then usual a slight andrenaline rush messing with his mind now. He breathed heavily still tasting that liquid pulsating itself from deep down. Quickly, he took off for the bath room. He began to cough prefusely and weezing as blood drizzled out off his mouth onto the floor.::
Refined Darkness: ::He slowly removed the blade from its sheath, letting the old wooden cover fall to the bar floor. He looked at his reflection in the blade, studying it carefully. He tried his best not to ever scratch his prized possession or taint it in anyway possible. His gaze turned towards the creature in the rafters for a second. The thought occured to him that it wasn't wise to sit on those old rickety beams. They could collapse at any given second. He
Kayura Mythril: ::Looks around the room from her seat by the door and sighs at the drab atmosphere. She hated being caught in sudden storms like this because they always forced her into dives such as this place.. but hey, at least she was dry. Glancing out the window at the rain, she watched the streets' few brave occupants run about, seeking shelter from the storm::
Refined Darkness: shrugged the thought off. Some people just had learn the hard way. His left hand strayed from the blade and picked up a small rag he used for cleaning it.::
SadieSabre: *She suggled down into her wings sa best she could, her lids half mast over the pure blue orbs. She didnt feel good, not at all. Her chest hurt, and her throat burned. She was soaked through and through, her ebony tresses dripping and her white dress soaked. She shivered, though she was feverish and hot to the touch*
Desta Darkhaven: *she smiled down at the little one in her arms before quietly stepping through the tavern door, her silver eyes looking around the room to note the occupents there, most of them she already knew. a slight nod went to the two males of the room, Jessiah and Maximilianus* Eve Men.
Kayura Mythril: ::clears her throat gently and looks back to the room, content to study all of the rooms occupants for the moment. Her blue eyes moved from one person to the next, studying them intently before moving on. What an odd assortment of bar patrons we have this night... of course that was mostly because of the storm.::
Desta Darkhaven: ((i copied it from the site cuz i was to lazy lol ))
Izydor Telvecho: ::He stumbled out of the bathroom and walked to his same stool. He let his arms flop limply on it, and then he glimpsed at it for quite sometime. He clenched a hand onto his ribs as he quickly pulled himself up and looked over at jess. There was no heat with him but he had a bad feeling throughout his body. He felt black shuttle in his vision as he went slightly unconcious. He was still capable of talking however.
Akari Chapelo: ::Low thumps and clatters were heard from above. Footsteps. Creaking noises of wood giving way beneath booted feet. A gravelly strip of shingles fell from off the side of the roof. Fragments and pieces of carpentry materials flying past the window. She had been lurking there, considerately observing the clouded sky. Raindrops of dirty water fell over a
Akari Chapelo: saguined face. Clear streams of red-tinted liquid dripping from ivory toned skin. It was early, perhaps an awkward time for this particular female to stalk amongst mortals. Though unbeknownst to her, the very tavern below her tromping had slowly filled with beings. All of which she had never made contact with. A continuation of scaling the slanted
Izydor Telvecho: The split izy spoke with a very unwelcoming smirk to jess.:: You peasant boy...over here...
Izydor Telvecho: i need to talk to you...
Izydor Telvecho: I*
Akari Chapelo: roof, soon Akari brought herself to the rain gutter along-side the perimeter of the chosen walking place. Onyx eyes relfected the whirling pools and circles it created, one after another, droplets of water fell into it. Such a building stream, useless there. It would have found its way to the ground eventually. So to help it on its journy, she lightly
Akari Chapelo: compressed her weight over the rim. A swift heeling of the gutter, bolts and screws soon detatched from the swollen boards of the building. A long stream of water splashed down and splatted against the window. Finally the gutter itself came crashing from the hinges of its support. Slamming into the window as well, shattering the glass inwards. She wouldn't
Akari Chapelo: be recognized from that. And with such clatter, an entrance would be much easier..snagging a victim, also::
SadieSabre: *She coughed again, turning a little in the womans arms, not wanting to cough in her face. She felt like crying, but was far too exausted to. She made a small whimpering sound when the coughing had died away. She didnt feel good. Not at all*
Refined Darkness: ::He didn't even bother to respond to the kind woman that had gave the greeting to him. He was too preoccupied in thought to even care, even if he wasn't he wouldn't have responded. He glanced over to the man who seemed rather sick. He knew their was going to be some chaos amuck when he hard heard a clattering outside. He had barely heard the man calling the shadowed one a peasant over the loud commotion outside. He shook his head slightly,
Refined Darkness: looking over to the small girl he had taken care of the night before, she seemed sick as well. There must have been some mortal illness running about that he didn't know about. He sighed, looking back to the fire eventually.::
Desta Darkhaven: *with a flicker of thought she brought her black velvet reclining chair to her and placed it among the darkness of the shadows before sitting down with the little one still wrapped up in her arms, but pulled her wings back. Her motherly insticts had kicked into high gear and the first thing she was going to do was break the fever*
Jessiah Ramsus: ::He nodded back to Desta as a welcome.. a kindred 'spirit' deserved atleast that much respect. And it seemed some strange man was drunk enough to call him a peasant boy.. But he ignored it, and the man left before things got out of hand. So he was stuck there with a wandering soul, now with 2 other kindred that were complete opposites, some strange boy, and some unknown girl.
Jessiah Ramsus: What a crowd.. Maybe he could make a nice meal out of one of them, being that the demon he had his eye on earlier decided to make his departure as silently as possible..::
Kayura Mythril: ::starts and looks over at the window on the other side of the door as the glass exploded into the room echoed with a loud clanging sound of the gutter hitting the pavement. Good god she hadn't been to any dives as low as this.. not in a long time.
Kayura Mythril: Slowly she wrapped her arms around herself and shrugged deeper into her jacket with a slight shudder. Slowly, she tore her vision from the crash and continued her observation of the room's occupants::
Refined Darkness: ::He didn't particularly favor the vampiric kind, seeing as how his father was turned into one when he was about the age of 24. He didn't hate them though, they were good for entertainment now and then. He leaned back in his chair, not far enough to even be close to tipping over though. He was aware of most the things happening around him, senses in overdrive with all these unusual people present. He kept a close eye on the one that was still in
Refined Darkness: the rafters. He couldn't wait til that old, termite infested wood gave way. This place was litterally falling apart. The only thing that still worked was the dim lighting and the huge freezer in the back room, where the dead tender was stored.::
Akari Chapelo: ::Thunder sounded from the outside. With the new gaping area through the window, the place would surely dampen in no time. Forboding tiny sparks of palest silver emitted from those jet black twins. Recovering from the fight had been successful, with the help of someone, of course. The new garb was a little less 'classy' from the last, though in a state quite
Akari Chapelo: the same. Yet another redingote frock of a deep crimson or burgundy color. Beneath it was of course a black dress. This time matching the frabric of the frock coat. A rich velour. Soft, almost velvetty, so though worn drastically under the beating rain. She had become quite drenched in this foul weather. Water was no pleasure ... being wet. Though as she
Akari Chapelo: loved to say, she was only happy when it rained. The news was bad indeed. Rich sapphire hair hung down in dripping bunches. Booted feet as always, tromping along. Strangely, a delicately tied leather pouch was around her wrist, possessing the tint of deepened chestnut. Lightning struck around her. A bolt of which seized the branch of a tree that hung
Akari Chapelo: over the tavern. Having been severed from its source, that as well slammed against the roof top. Wasn't it fun to stir awkward noises during the mid-night?::
Desta Darkhaven: *she looked to the noise and merely ignored it before nodding to the ladies of the room, a delicate pale hand lightly caressing the cheek of the chyld whom she held in her lap a soft silver glow comming around her before it snapped into a black aure like sheild with a royal blue haze, her eyes fading into a dim grey as she looked into the chylds physical -
Desta Darkhaven: form to find what was wrong*
Jessiah Ramsus: ::The whole upper portion of the tavern shook from the impact and the fierce winds. The beam he perched on began to crack, so before he would let that happen.. He hopped over a few beams and landed on one that was almost directly over the door. He made sure he sat near the closest rafters support as well, so his weight would be distributed to the stronger portion of the beam.
Jessiah Ramsus: Akari was looking pretty fancy tonight, considering how she looked yesterday. Not much was happening.. The strange guy with the sword seemed to be fixated with him, he kept looking back to Jess every so often. He could tell there would be some trouble with him if he made him a meal, but maybe it would be worth it. Only one way to find out..::
Jessiah Ramsus: *rafter
Refined Darkness: ::He didn't even flinch as a rafter crashed down directly beside him. With this storm the tavern might be forced to rubble quite soon. He could vaguely remember the first time he had been shot, the taste of his own blood strong. He didn't exactly want to think about that. He closed his eyes for a second, his focus turning back to the fire. He hoped that the child would be ok, and it seemed she would with a caring person looking after her. The
Refined Darkness: barking of machinegun was eternally imprinted in his mind. He could hear it most of the time, especially when he was concentrated upon something, and quiet. He was used to it now, it was rather easy to tune it out.::
Kayura Mythril: ::Reluctantly, a yawn escaped her lush lips. She nearly started out of her chair however when the branch crashed down upon the roof, and then again when the rafter collapsed. A fresh rush of adrenaline kicked in, making her wide awake.
Kayura Mythril: Carefully, she tucked her hands into her jacket and rested her hands upon the handles of her 2 FN pistols that were situated in shoulder holsters there. Grasping the handles made her feel somewhat more secure, at least enough to stop shaking. Irratably she thought "No sleeping tonight, I might not wake up should I sleep here."::
Akari Chapelo: ::Oh, that liltily singing. It was decided that she would make her presence known once and for all through a French song. Each consonant was pronounced with a slight sharpness. As she made her way across the roof, above all others and unseen, hips moved with a gentle swaying. As water trickled down that porcelain doll of a face, thin,
Akari Chapelo: knive-like fingers coiled around the drenched thickness of blue, wringing the water out. She stepped, making each movement ever lasting. There would have to be a certain place she could enter. The shingles were slick and all falling off. It was obvious that no one had tended to the place to keep it in shape. As a snarling creak gave way under
Akari Chapelo: Akari foot, she paused. A mild tugging at the ends of her lips, that *cute* little up turned nose scrunched in mischievousness. Placing herself over the spot directly, Akari folded her arms around her chest tightly, then lept upwards, only to snap the timber holding the ceiling up in that spot, and plummiting downwards into the room. Debris and
Akari Chapelo: wreckage everywhere, though the hole made wasn't all too big. Her lithe, slender form fit quaintly through, landing in a low crouch::
Desta Darkhaven: *she gave the small one in her arms a gentle smile, showing the fangs under the crimson lips and pale visage before lightly laying her hands on either side of the chylds neck, the aure she built slowly draining into the chyld and working its way through her body to burn away the infection, healing her 50 percent of the way and then stopped as not to startle the girl.-
Desta Darkhaven: After she was done she set the wee lass in her chair placing a warm blanket over her. Then she turned to look at the room and moved behind the bar avoiding the fallen rafter beam and began to look through the bottles for a hopeful bottle of Brandy or maybe Baileys*
Refined Darkness: ::He yawned slightly as he heard the other vampiric creature bust through the roof. It was a rather over dramatic entrance, the door always seemed to work for him. He could hear rain pouring through the roof in a few places. The elements always seemed to bring in the oddest and most darkest creatures from within the depths of the Earth out to play. He enjoyed the company though, even if they were rather useless. He rubbed the side of his head,
Refined Darkness: looking down to his blade that was rested on his lap. He had totally forgot about cleaning it with all the distractions. He was slightly worried about the girl still though, her coughs sounded horrid. He sighed again, becoming rather bored with these beings.::
Shaki Amnell: ::A young girl pushed through the tavern door, leaving it slightly ajar. She was extremely tall for her age, for anyone, her violet hair hiding her face, which was cast downward, watching where she stepped so she wouldn't trip or be the usual clumsy idiot she was. An orange ball of fur stopped
Shaki Amnell: clinging to her legs to shut the door, and ran up the girl's back onto her shoulder, it's nails scratching the back of her legs, though she didn't notice, or just didn't care. She sat upon one of the tables, looking around fo someone to talk to::
Desta Darkhaven: *she peeked up over the bar and smiled* Hello Shaki chyld *she nodded before turning to look at Max* The chylds a wee bit sick but she'll be fine...Ill let her wake before I do anything else to find out how she feels. *she gave a grin and went back to looking for the bottles*
Kayura Mythril: ::a startled and half strangled cry escaped her lips before she could stifle it as the roof collapsed and the blue haired lady dropped in. Quickly she covered her lips with her left hand and glanced round the room with large scared eyes.
Kayura Mythril: Noting that the other occupants weren't frightened, she felt a little foolish, this realization creating a cimson stain upon her cheeks. She glanced over at the rooms new ocupant with muted interest. At least she had somebody new to study, and that helped to lessen her fear.::
Jessiah Ramsus: I don't think I have to repeat myself.. ::The comment was directed towards Akari, referencing the conversation he had with her yesterday and how wherever she went, she had to break something. He kept quiet after letting out a small chuckle, knowing Akari might get a bit agitated. A bit of a drip began to work it's way over Jessiah.. wetting down his already well groomed hair.
Jessiah Ramsus: He couldn't really move somewhere else though, this was probably one of the most stable spots of the rafters.. So he decided to endure. In the midst of enduring, he noticed the sword that the man owned... So, if he ever did decide whether or not to make him a meal, he would get a pretty damn good sword out of the deal, since he just recently got rid of his own::
Refined Darkness: ::He looked over at his belongings, a foot or so away. He slid his chair over to the table they were placed on, no noise emitting from the united chair leg and floor of the tavern. Two huge gashes were left in the wood though. The chairs that they had in this tavern were big and burly, probably weighing close to 40 or 50 lbs. He rummaged around the mass of scattered weaponry and other accessories. His hand finally emerged with a canister looking
Refined Darkness: object. It was a grenade of the sorts, but none that would kill anyone. It was sometime reffered to as a "flashbang". It would deafen any temporarily blind any creature that would be foolish enough to tamper with him. He also got a pair of sunglasses out from the midst, sliding them on. They looked rather expensive, but they did work when he used them. He looked back towards the fire, ignoring the slight noises around him. He was fully of aware
Refined Darkness: of all movements and happenings around him though.::
Kayura Mythril: ::realizing that she still had her hand covering her mouth she quickly removed it and shoved her hands into her jacket pockets, sinking a little lower into her chair. She looked over to the woman behind the bar and studied her for a moment,
Kayura Mythril: quite happy to see that not everyone was as un-feeling as a corpse. Then her mind returned to the thought that the building might not last thru the storm. Worried, she pursed her eyebrows togeather and hoped for the best, returning her gaze to the rain falling outside.::
Shaki Amnell: ::She smiled over to Desta, though her intelligent green eyes seemed less playful and carefree than usual:: Hey Mrs. Darkhaven.. If my mother or uncle askes, I wasn't here, okay? ::She looked around at the other occupants, her smile fading instantly, revealing that it had been fake. After
Shaki Amnell: seeing that everyone was busy, she shuffled her feet over to Desta and the child, truly smiling at the girl:: Hello, I hope you feel better.. ::She studied her expression, and nodded reassuringly:: Don't let anyone around here scare you, they are all talk,
Shaki Amnell: or they won't bother with you at all.. You're safe either way, the only exception is Desta, but she's as tame as a pussy cat.. ::She smirked at Desta, sitting next to her::
Desta Darkhaven: *she couldnt help but grin at Shaki and stuck her tongue out at her* About as tame as a raging panther with the scent of blood in its nose..*she gave a wicked grin and slid back to the small lass in the chair, picked her up and sat her in her lap opening the brandy bottle* How have you been dear?
Akari Chapelo: ::Oddly, a single eyebrow raised, accompanied by a sly little smirk. It was true what he refered to. In previous conversations he did imply she had to break something wherever she went. All too true. Standing at full stature, Akari canted her head to the side. Speaking wasn't an obligation, though she would save her words for later. The brute female
Akari Chapelo: had always seemed to put her actions before her words. When it came to strangers, anyway. Not only did she arrive amongst several of the kindred, however the majority being fledglings. This was quite interesting. For the past few days she had spent her time here, feeding off of the rats which kept her from massacreing the entire lot. Satisfied,
Akari Chapelo: Akari was in no position to hunt. Though the thought of it was purely out of entertainment. Fingers slid against the walls while she made her way around the room. Always with an assorted line of shifting in her pace. Akari knew she had been watched, unphased by it. Too many people on too many days laid eyes on her. A quick glance, or an hour long
Akari Chapelo: examination. Speach would have defined her personality, though movements also had. White claws [Fingernails] scraped along the wall as she walked. Wall paper coiling from off of it. She left a long line of marks until stopping to glance at the anti-social man, [Max] then over towards the "flashbang" he held. Akasha had warned her about
Shaki Amnell has left the room.
Akari Chapelo: this. A sensation of losing senses sounded almost appealing. Peace and quiet. She grinned up at Jessiah, almost tauntingly. A slight murmur was offered:: You're in for some deep trouble.
Kayura Mythril: *yawns, not feeling like typing a paragraph for one action*
Refined Darkness: ::His index finger slowly slipped into the ring that was attached to the pin of the flashbang. He pulled it slowly and quietly, not wanting to alert any of the people in the tavern. Most of them had disappeared suddenly, which didn't surprise him in the least bit. He reached into his belongings and quickly took out a pair of earplugs, placing them properly into his ears. Now he would be safe from the impact of it, just as long as none of the
Refined Darkness: shrapnel was to hit him. His gaze turned towards the one vampire that was still perched in the rafters not so far away. He lifted the handle on the "Fb", waiting for two seconds before he made a move. His arm pulled backward for a second or so, his hand letting go of it as soon as it sprung forward. It was headed right for the creature's head. An evil smirk appeared about his face. He enjoyed to cause trouble now and then.::
Akari Chapelo: ::Akari's hearing was indeed sensative. A light click or pulling noise was detected as she stopped dead in her tracks. Only two people other than herself were present in the room, and nothing that Jessiah carried sounded like that. She quickly crouched down and pulled the frock over her head, clenching her eyelids shut rather tightly. The fabric of her coat
Akari Chapelo: was also shoved quite closely to her face. It was the flashbang and it seemed as though she would suffer for Jessiah's curiousity this time. Allowing a low growl to project before the grenade exploded, Akari braced herself for the results. She'd compressed herself into a small package of burgundy cloth and blue hair which hung from below
Akari Chapelo: it.:: Fucking hell.. ::She snarled, waiting for it to make contact with Jessiah or possibly be evaded... Hopefully the results wouldn't last too long. That would severely put her fighting position with Threat in jeopardy::
Jessiah Ramsus: ::Well, fuck. This wasn't something he would describe as pleasent.. It caught him completely off guard, since he expected an actual explosion. He put his hands over his eyes instinctively, but it was obviously a bit too late. He was temporarily blinded and confused.. He still had his other senses, but he was a bit distraught from it all.
Jessiah Ramsus: He hopped down from the beam and landed on the floor with a stagger, desperately trying to keep his posture as he kept his eyes shut tightly. He had a sense for where Akari was.. But he couldn't make out what she was doing. He turned around full circle, facing where the man was last time he looked...
Jessiah Ramsus: And with a few quick flicks of the wrist, he sent 3 small scalpel like blades flying towards where the man was last seen::
Refined Darkness: ::He growled slightly as one of the blades pierced his left arm, another slashed the tip of his shoulder. The last one almost had hit him, but stuck into the table next to him. He pulled the one that had pierced his arm from his skin, wincining slightly. He had undergone far worse than that before. His hands reached inside of his trenchcoat, pulling forth an old 1911 Colt .45. He moved away from his old spot where he had been sitting, but made
Refined Darkness: sure he kept a good distance from the other vampire. His right hand grasped onto the handle of the gun, his left wrapping around his wrist, to support it. The recoil from that caliber was rather strong, and if not done right could determine how accurate one would be. He lined the sight up with the man's leg, pulling the trigger once.::
Akari Chapelo: ::The minor explosion was heard and quite regretfully, a few seconds after, Akari opened her eyes expecting to be fully blind. Startling, though it was. She peered about the room and noticed that only a dim haze fogged her eyes a little. The man was apparent with his sunglasses and ear plugs. That answered her earlier assumption. She could have
Akari Chapelo: killed him right there. Amongst her clothing had been a revolver. What a coinsidence? Glaring towards the man, she watched him as he pulled a gun from his coat. Revolting. He was cowardly enough to blind someone, then shoot at them while they were at a loss of sight? She would not stand for that. Recalling the previous concersation she had
Akari Chapelo: had with Jessiah, a doubt lingered in her mind about what she was going to do. He wasn't a gun person, but she was, in a neutral sense. She retrieved the revolver, aiming for the hand which held the gun. One eye closed as the man shot, and she too fired as he was pre-occupied. Evading her shot would be out of the question. He would quite possibly drop
Akari Chapelo: the gun and remain with a hole in his wrist or palm::
Jessiah Ramsus: ::He relied on his hearing alone, which would do just fine.. even though it was a bit of a hinderance. The gunshot came from his left, he couldn't tell where on his body the bullet was aimed for, so he just had to get out of the way completely. He made a spin forward, the bullet grazing his left calf and halting his spin with a drop to a knee. The man made a grave mistake.. He used a gun.
Jessiah Ramsus: He could have just as easily, if not more so, used a sword to strike Jessiah down with a much better outcome. He now knew where he was. And once he heard the shot from Akari's gun, Jessiah made his move.
Jessiah Ramsus: A lunge to his front, he came at him with 4 slashes of his claws, 2 up his chest and stomach forming an X, one at his neck, and he followed the motion of the third swipe with a spin, and halted it with a slash into that man's side::
Refined Darkness: ::He had dropped his weapon as soon as his hand had been struck by that bullet, there was a large hole in the cent of his hand. That crimson blood trickled down his right hand. He had been too focused on the pain of that wound. He hadn't exactly thought that vampires had as good as senses as they did. He was amazed while he was being slashed by those brutal claws. He smirked slightly, his clothing shredded, and the claw marks visible upon
Refined Darkness: his upper body. He was bleeding horribly, but that wasn't enough to stop him completely. As the vampire had finished with his last swipe to his side he slowly had lurched forward, delivering a punch to the beast's head with one hand. He was doing his best to survive this one, he had underestimated them. He then followed up with a sweep kick the best he could managed, putting all of his effort into it. His .45 was on the ground, tainted by
Refined Darkness: his own blood.::
Jessiah Ramsus: ::He head jerked to the right from the impact of the punch. This human had a flare to himself. Something in the blood, he could smell it. The sweep did catch him off guard though, sending him down on his back. But he used to opportunity to retaliate. He waved his right leg in the direction from which his opponent's leg came from.
Jessiah Ramsus: Abusing his vampiric speed, he rose to his feet while the man was in mid-fall from the sweep, and sent a kick under him, full swing, that would send him up into the ceiling upon impact::
Jessiah Ramsus: *His head
Jessiah Ramsus: *the opportunity
Akari Chapelo: ::Standing almost motionless, she watched as Jessiah clawed furiously at the man's chest. She knew Jess all too well, the man had dreastically underestimated him. And for that, he would pay quite dearly. Reholstering her gun, well dropping it into one of the deep pockets of her frock coat, she stood almost puzzled. Jessiah had never been the type to ask for
Akari Chapelo: help. Though something told her she should stay back. Eyeing the two as they fought, Akari was positioned quite a ways away from them. Bracing her weight towards the floor, she called out towards Jessiah:: Have that all under control, or could you use my assistance, dear?!
Refined Darkness: ::He had only seen a blur or two as the vampire sweeped him in return. As he was falling he suddenly felt that burning impact within his spine. Before he knew it he had slammed against a rafter, his left arm desperately grasping to it. Part of it gave way, snapping half in his hand. He fell to his feet, rather sore and beaten up at this point. His hand was slowly beginning to heal. It would take a few hours for it to completely useable
