Jessiah Ramsus: ::The first blade connected. It tore through the flesh and muscle of his torso as it claimed it's place. He wasn't sure how this managed to happen, or, atleast, how he let it happen. He pushed through the pain and managed to use his left foot, adorning a large steel-toed boot, to kick the knife aside and upwards.. Spinning in Akari's direction. A little show off manuever to answer Akari's question.  Before the man could follow up with anything else, Jessiah pulled the blade out and threw it back to it's owner. Practically surpassing it's speed, he leapt to the man's right and sent a quick spin kick to his back.. Hopefully knocking him into the path of the blade::

Refined Darkness: ::He was surprised at how accurate this opponent could be. He looked down to his torso area, seeing the blade sticking inside of him. He pulled it out, letting it fall to the floor. His left hand, the one that wasn't injured reached into his trenchcoat, he pulled forth a small 9mm pistol, clutching it tightly in a single hand. He jumped backward, away from his foe, he didn't want to be too close to him. He trained the sight upon his right shoulder, pulling the trigger twice before it was done. Blood was leaking from his torso and chest, his neck wound had sealed over already. The neck was a vital spot on his kind, it healed rather quickly though, compared to the few hours it took to heal deep wounds like the one the vampiress had done to his hand. He kept a close eye on him, trying to prepare himself for anything else that could possibly happen. That burning pain was felt all over his upper body.::

Akari Chapelo: ::Shortly after her question had been asked, Akari was answered. With it, a light squeak was replied as the knife came flying at her. Onyx eyes widening a little as she ducked downwards. It seemed as though today she would be spending a lot of time crouched towards the ground for one reason or another. The knife simply drove itself straight into the rotting wood and Akari peeked her head out from shielding arms to look back at it.:: Alright, have it your way. ::There was no telling what the man was about to do next, everything with the two men was so random. She felt a little misplaced, though soon rose to her feet. The wet leather of her boots screeching. If there called for another psycho with guns and a sword, she would be there.::

Jessiah Ramsus: ::He stepped back and looked to his right shoulder, two large gaping holes. One bullet went all the way through and the other was being stubborn. He dug into one wound with his index finger and thumb, pulling out a flattened bullet seconds later. Yes, it was excrutiating.. But it wasn't worse than anything he'd been through before. He chucked the bullet across the room and looked over to the man:: You assholes and your guns... I don't blame you for using 'em.. But they can get really annoying. ::His deep, but lightly celtic hinted, voice came out almost venemously. He was officially pissed. By now all of his wounds were almost completely healed, save for the recent bullet holes. Red was slowly leaking out from the crimson irises of his eyes, enveloping the whole eye except for the black pupil in the center. He looked the guy over quickly.. The neck wounds were healed. Okay, now he was certain he wasn't a normal human.. Those would have normally left scars. Ahhh.. This would turn out to be a learning experience after all. He wished he had his sword right about now.. It would have been fun to have a blade bigger than a scalpel to play with during this skirmish. So, he improvised and rose his hands up slightly.. The bones in the fingers cracking and stretching out into even longer and sharper claws than they once were. Bone crafting, it was his birthday gift once he became a Methuselah. He dropped down into a fight postion, boney claws extended, and motion for the man to come at him::

Refined Darkness: ::He dashed over to the table where his things were, grasping his katana, "death" in one hand. He used the other to grasp onto the sheath, pulling it from it. He looked at his own reflection for a mere second in the ancient blade, then to the opponent before him. Hopefully this would be prove to be a lucky night. He fell into a sort of Samurai stance with the blade, waiting for him to attack first. He needed to figure him out, with those claws of his. He had figured out a long time ago that this vampire was far more experienced then the rest of the fledglings. He had killed a few vampires in his time, none ever having been close to as strong as this one. A serious look was upon his face, concentrated fully. Most of his wounds had stopped bleeding, except for the recent torso knife wound. He narrowed his eyes just a bit, anticipating and waiting.::

Jessiah Ramsus: ::He let out a loud sigh, getting out of his stance and bringing his claws down to his side:: Oh come on, I was giving you the chance to get the first attack in. I'm trying to be a good sport here, make it as fair as possible for you. ::He looked over to his right, to Akari.. Looking almost out of place:: Aren't I being pretty damn nice, or atleast fair? Have you ever seen me like this before?

Refined Darkness: ::As soon as he looked over to his vampire counterpart he had ran a few steps closer, ducking low. His foot came around in an attempt at another sweepkick, while his blade went in an upwards slash to the right, across the torso. That mere second or so was enough for him to determine a strategy. He didn't exactly play by the rules all the time, that was pretty obvious. His blood was still dripping from the torso wound, down to the wooden floorboards below. He hadn't had such a good fight in quite a long time. It was rather interesting that all the rest of his kind always tried to destroy him, but ended up losing, no matter how good they were.::

Akari Chapelo: ::There was nothing more and nothing less for the female here. Standing by momentarily she examined Jessiah's bone structure slowly mutate into that sickeningly beast like form. She hadn not liked watching him in this state. It was a little over the top of her preferences with abnormalities. She casted her glance downwards and slowly stepped along-side the wall towards the doorway. Upon reaching, Akari leaned, crossing one leg over the other in anticipation. She would have dove right in had it not been for Jessiah's mutation. No, she did not like being near him when "The Beast" was so close to breaking through.:: Nice.. of course. Let's just hope it stays that way when you're through with him. I'd hate to have to deal with you like... that. ::The last sentence spoken was a little more quiet than the first. She hadn't wanted to offend him in any way for the sake of her own hide. Though if the opporunity came that he happen to attack, she would not stand for it. Scary Jessiah would soon been scary blood smear on the wall.:: You're wasting your time with that Katana, poor man. ::She offered Max an honest smile. One only a vampire could pull off.
Akari Chapelo: Animated features to the fullest. A white face outlined in black ink::

Refined Darkness: ::As soon as he looked over to his vampire counterpart he had ran a few steps closer, ducking low. Jessiah Ramsus: ::The sweep clipped one foot, setting him off balance. But he quickly regained some posture, and caught the blade between his thumb and his middle and index fingers.. Or should I say, claws. The blade was driven halfway into his palm though, which wasn't a pleasant feeling. He looked to the man after drawing his attention from the sword:: Well that's just rude.. and after I was trying to be so nice. ::He could most definitely fend the sword off with his claws, they would not be cut down by his blade, but the same went for his Katana.. The metal must have been folded over many times, it would not break even under large amounts of pressure. He lifted his end of the blade up into the air, and then over to his other side, leaving the side of the man's right arm open. He sent a swift side kick right into the center of the forearm. And with contact, that would most definitely tear most of it off, or atleast completely shatter the bone.. He could not tell with this one::

Refined Darkness: ::He groaned in pain and stumbled backward as he litterally felt the bone of his right forearm crack and crumble into pieces. He had no control whatsoever of his entire right arm now, it just lay there limp. His right hand was still healing too, it was a damned shame. He still held his katana though, grumbling a little bit. There had to be a way to get past those claws. He ran forward as fast as he could, leaping into the air for a fake jump kick. His leg stood out straight, but at the last second he slashed upward, towards the man's face. He knew that he would take some damage from a move like this, but he didn't have much to lose. He knew he wasn't probably going to be the victor in this fight either. He wouldn't go down without a struggle though.::

Akari Chapelo: ::Senselessly, Akari wandered back over to the area in which the scapel/ knife had stuck from the wall. She yawned slightly, a pink tongue snaking over the tip of a left fang. Those forboding sparks which previously emitted through her eyes had died down. Watching a brawl take place was nothing unusual. Especially in a tavern such as this. Knive like fingers curled around the end of the scalpel as she yanked it from the wall, leaning there again with her head tilted arrogantly to the side. Onyx twins squinted at the man as he attacked Jessiah. It was a little more territorial when one of her own kind was being attacked. Instincts to maim and massacre ruled as impulses. Carelessly enough, she began to use the thin edge of the scalpel as a tooth pick for her fangs. A little strip of a rat's stomach lining was snagged..::

Jessiah Ramsus: ::Fuck! He caught him with that one. The tip of the blade started on the side of his neck and went up, slipping out before it went into the eye. He hit a vein, not the largest possible one in that area.. But a vital one none the less. It would heal in a few minutes... But Jessiah didn't have a few minutes. He'd struck a cord with the Beast. He had drawn way too much blood from Jessiah, and it angered the Beast.. The very essence of the demonic possession in his blood.. This thing that made him what he is. It was awake, and it was angry. His whole bone structure practically shifted. His body mass was almost doubled, and bones started to jolt from joints and random places all over his body as large jagged spikes of sinew and bone. His powers were out of his control now, as the Beast took the stage of his conciousness. He knew it would not last long though, he wasn't losing enough blood for that. He noticed that the man landed very near after his attack, and before he could get away, Jessiah stepped up infront of him and gave him a big bear hug...Lifting him off the ground and into the air. He pressed him against his chest for awhile, when seconds later his own ribs began to crack and extend outwards, penetrating his skin and going into and through the man. Now, he knew this would not completely kill the man.. It would put him out of commission for a damn long time though, and would make this fight Jessiah's to win::

Refined Darkness: ::He yelled in pain as those spikes ripped right through his body, after a few of his own ribs had been broken by the bear hug. Blood dripped from him, pools of it flowing to the ground below. His grip let go of the katana he was holding, watching as it fell towards the ground. He was sort of slouched ever, eyes open but clearly unconcious. He had lost the bottle as he had anticipated. This vampire was too strong for him. Although some slaying of others like him and training would help him become even better. He smirked at his thought for going completely out. A heartbeat was barely noticeable. Skin cold and pale. He had endured worse injuries but this had topped his list for quite some time.::

Jessiah Ramsus: ::The bones passed through his own arms as well. Slowly, he slid them off and retracted the bones.. letting the man fall to the floor. The anger was slowly slipping away, too. Leaving Jessiah hungry and tired.. All of that work used up alot of his blood, and now he was drenched in another man's blood.. And it was all over the floor as well. What a waste. He looked over to Akari with a tired grin and nodded to her. He had won the fight, but he knew the man wasn't going to die that easily.. But he needed blood, so he would save the last bit of his strength for that, and that alone. Stepping over the cold body of the man, he made his way for the door.. And slipped into the rainy night::

Akari Chapelo: ::Eyeing the man with little interest, Akari removed the scalpel from her teeth. She wiped it against the side of her frock coat, then darted towards the man's neck as Jessiah held him there. Her two cents for the day. She almost let out a little chuckle as she watched the man hemorrhaging from several areas of his body now. Silken blue tassels of hair shadowed her eyes, until they were delicately tucked behind an ear.:: Oh the prediciments people get themselves into. If only he'd just not bothered. ::Cooly, she took a step near the door, acquire a different perspective of the suffering thing.::
