Slade Reinhart: ::watches her compellingly from his perch::
Akari Chapelo: ::Presently poised atop a rigid, mossy rock, the one of anti-moral conduct and articulacy sat enticed in her writing. A quill pen of one of those fashionable frilly black feathers had been use, jotting away in messily portrayed cursive along the coarse pages of a richly leather-bound journal. Legs strung out and among themselves in one of the oddest positions. Most definitely uncomfortable for any mortal to attempt in bodily positioning. Aloof to all other surroundings, though not complete oblivious to that of silent pursuers, Akari slowed her writing down, just enough to glance upwards, though shortly after, returning attention back to the book::
Slade Reinhart: ::drops silently infront of her looking at her knowing he is her for a reason but will not do what it is::
Akari Chapelo: ::She hadn't even faltered in her writing. Not once did she looked up, even to the brief scuffling of leaves under large weight, not to mention the snapping of twigs. Ever more did Akari remain content. Musing between each written sentence, complacently brushing the feathers against her flesh.::
Slade Reinhart: ::softly he speaks:: I've heard you are amoung the best fighters around, not to mention one of the best lookers as well
Akari Chapelo: ::Upon hearing someone's voice before her, Akari swiftly dropped her quilled pen between the inner spine of the journal. A light *thoop* sound emitting from the drop, followed by the abrupt closing noise of the journal's pages coming together while the leathers were shut. Deep liquid black eyes scanned from knee to face. For about the being's knee was what had been before her, having been seated. The giant figure of a male was taken in. Registering his general appearance qualities as every foot was scaled. Eyelashes fluttered in the apathy that was shown towards his addressing..:: Your point being..?
Slade Reinhart: I was wondering if you might would care to spar against me? ::looking over her small frame and taking in every detail noting not to leave anything out. He nods with his questions knowing she would be a good partner to spar against. But thinking as well what tricks might she have up her sleeve he can't see that might give her the upper hand???.....Not knowing this he decides to.........::
Slade Reinhart: ((you still there?))
Akari Chapelo: ::There along her temples grew the small, yet noticable there, folding creases of pallid flesh. Eyes narrowing. She had not been addressed to battle with anyone for quite some time. It had not been of her nature to accept spars. For battling in her mind, was only to result in dealth of opponent. Sighing heavily, Akari lifted the journal from her lap and placed it on the dirt ground to her left. Standing, that lofty frame was exposed to the fullest. Her bone structure being fine and strong. Her shoulders, very broad, and she possessed a fine pair of taut breasts. Her rib cage was quite prominant, although her waist was significantly smaller and tapered into a flat stomach which had been delicately sectioned into a series of nearly rounded squares, tight abdominal muscles and high voluptuous hips, though her length was in her long, shapely legs. Staring directly into the man's mirrored eyes, she glanced at her own reflection. An eloquent black, wool dress clinging in proportion to each curve of her body. The Angelblade had been.. as usual strapped to her soldier like back, slung across.:: If it is a spar you seek, then by all means, begin.
Akari Chapelo: [ Yes. I am. ]
Slade Reinhart: ((I only freeforum when I'm on here for RPGing))
Akari Chapelo: [ What do you mean by that? I am free forming. ]
Slade Reinhart: ((I was just making sure you would do it throughout the whole spar, sorry))
Slade Reinhart: ::steps back a few feet and bows then stands lightly on his feet with no gaurd up::
Akari Chapelo: ::Questioning, a thin eyebrow rose above the left eye. Did he not understand "begin". No. Akari would not be the fool and attack first. That would have been the first mistake. She lept backwards, landing atop the very rock she sat upon just moments ago. Blue tendrils fluttering about her lithe form. An rather neutral look about her stance. Hands dangling loosely at either side and feet spread apart only slightly.:: Well, what are you waiting for?
Slade Reinhart: your first mistake, which you just made. ::vanishes and appears behind her and throwing a powerful side kick to her back::
Akari Chapelo: ::She must have been three thousand years older. Not to mention three thousand years wiser. Such a predictable attempt in making bodily contact. Magic in all its forms was quite familiar. And even one of the simplest human movements could have gotten her out of it. But Akari.. She chose to be a little more crafty. Spinning around full circle the moment those severely immortal, calculating black eyes had detected vanishing or undetectable speeds. A sharp whip of her clutching hand. The hand which strove to grab hold of his ankle::
Slade Reinhart: ::pulls his leg back just as fast as she grabbed it. Slade still test her out, turns invisible and moves away from her hoping she will try to find him::
Akari Chapelo: ::She snarled at his magic. Such mockery of her own abilities. It was a shame she didn't resort to physical matter deteriation. She thought it to be raw trickery and uncouth in the arts of fighting. Cheating, if you will. While stepping down off the rock, Akari folded her arms across her chest, letting loose a small growl.:: Come out, if you're not a coward. And no more of this sneaking up behind me business.
Slade Reinhart: ::stepping from her side and taking up a neutral stance::then no more jumping back and waiting
Akari Chapelo: Agreed. ::She let a confident smile spread across her lips, arms stretching outwards and her right leg crossing out in front. An effortless thrust was given. A false kick. Hoping to confuse him slightly, just minor seconds after, should he choose to attempt in blocking the kick, her fist struck out to drive into his mid-torso::
Slade Reinhart: ::leans back and follows through with a spinning heel kick to her ribs. Followed up with his other foot to kick at her head. Hoping one will connect but doubting either will::
Akari Chapelo: ::She jarred to the side as the heel connected with her ribs, only faltering slightly, not even more than three feet. Her neck had bent lowly so that his foot might flow over her head and miss it while she regrouped from being connected with. Though only suddenly dropping to the ground, supporting herself by her palms, did her legs curve outwards and slam into his own, hoping to atleast sweep him to the ground with such immense impact. Wavering tresses of blue scattered with her every action. Messily tangling about her arms and making it only slightly harder to move freely. A devilish expression gleamed in those beautiful onyx eyes. He had been so predictable, it was almost amusing.::
Slade Reinhart: ::lightly jumping over her legs but falling as to look like she swept him, he attempts a straight kick at her face, hoping she goes for that and not his fist heading swiftly for her stomache to connect with a forceful blow::
Akari Chapelo: ::Oh, that had surely been it. No over-grown lumbering dolt would make a mockery out of her. No. Her speed had leveled past all calcuable charts. It appeared as though he thought he could easily dominant her. That would never be the case. Not with Akari Chapélo. Never. She leaned back, still having been on the dirt ground, and using her already palmed hands to lift her form up and backwards with a seated flip. Landing in a feline like crouch just feet away, the foot he aimed at her face had met nothing, as well as his fist. Humorous chortling gave way from that melodic set of vocal chords.:: You'll have to try better than that. ::She smirked, rocking to and fro from her position, readying herself for another attack, as well as preparing to counter-attack anything he had to offer::
Slade Reinhart: ::and with the same aspiring speed that she just used following his arm he twisted and spon in the air and landed in a likewise feline form::
Akari Chapelo: ::Why had it been that each time she strove to allow him to attack, he mimicked her? This was angering. But the semi-arrogant one only held her ground. Stubborn. She'd carry this spar on all night if she had to. Staring at the man until he chose to attack. Or fall asleep, had the case need turn out that way.:: Make your move, big boy. ::Obsidian eyes cast downwards at his torso. Should it move in any manner and she'd be ready.::
Slade Reinhart: ::looks her over and leaps towards her ready for her attack::
Akari Chapelo: ::Seconds.. minutes.. hours could have passed. Time seemed to stratch out horrendously. But at one specific moment, in one of the most casual manners, did Akari reach out. Using little speed, though simply placing her hand on his throat. Fingers digging into his flesh, her arm forcing him to his back:: You... amuse.. me. ::Her eyes shone with bitterness, lips pursing while she'd brought her face almost nose to nose with him::
Slade Reinhart: ::hi hand goes to her throat and squeezes tightly lifting her off the ground as he stands and moving his arm to an out stretched position or until it fights against hers. moving his free hand to her wrist he pries her hand free of his neck and twists her arm to the point of breaking it if she moved:: you are mearly amusing me, to tell the truth
Akari Chapelo: ::This one was poorly trained and educated. Limbs of immortality would not break, especially at this age. Her skin had been indefinitely hard. Almost marble like. He would hurt himself before hurting her. Though in that senile gaze she pondered his attempt in finding her amusing.. it most probably was not true. Only something to belittle. Arms twisted in strange positions, once again. So that the wretching of his locked fingers would in turn be dominated by her own which clamped onto his wrists. Standing there before him, wrists in wrists she chattered her fanged teeth against the bottom pearly whites:: You won't defeat me, sir.
Slade Reinhart: ::grins evilly as he picks her up over head easily and throws her at a huge tree::we shall see...::the tree no more than a mere 5' away::
Akari Chapelo: ::Well that was a bad idea on his part. Akari flew at the tree, spiralling just enough to gain leverage. Until both booted feet mad contact with the trunk and sprung her off like a rubber ball, beaming at him like a dart. The shapeless discoloration of her figure which sped at him had only taken her milli-seconds to acquire. Just then, giving him not a moment to counter act. Her body returning to drive into him almost the second he'd let go of her. A cute battle cry ringing out of her maw as she'd propelled into him with a deathly crash::
Slade Reinhart: ::grasping onto her shoulders and falling backwards with his foot placed into her midsection to flip her with her own momentum. He springs to his feet and is atop her without a waste of time, when she lands::
Akari Chapelo: ::She let out a seductive little purr. The zest of life in another being was so enticing to witness. He had plently of go in him. She admired his effort and strategy. Nodding her head to acknowledge his winning. She had given up, yes. And the pinning was even all too easy to avoid, but Akari was never much for spars, as it had been stated before. They would only drag on into the tiresome descents of hell, until one of them claimed defeat. He was welcome to assume the right of declaring victory, though in heartfelt situations, he would realize deep inside, that had this been a real battle, the tables would be turned in a completely different direction.:: I'm impressed. ::She smirked, continuing the purr of breathing. This soft rumbling only occuring due to the treble in her heightened rate..::
Slade Reinhart signed on at 9:38:16 PM.
Akari Chapelo: [ Still alive? ]
Slade Reinhart: ((yeah, still thinking what to write))
Slade Reinhart: net we should fight to the death::nodding but not ecepting this win::
