a regular telephone, dial 144 to get the phone number of anyone in the country.
On the internet, go to Bezeq's site and click the icon "144".
This service works only in Hebrew.
To get deals on international phone calls (like calling your parents abroad) it is very worthwhile for you to sign up with a server. If you call abroad directly without signing up with a server, you will pay much higher rates than need be, even if you use their line. For example, just starting your international call with “1-012“ will not give you “Golden Lines” special rates if you did not officially sign up with them! There are three servers in Israel:
Name:
Bezeq International (001)

Each unit lasts a different amount of time, according to the time of day, but average five minutes.
