Have been searching for information re: my gr.grandmother Winifred Brennan Delaney and her family. As far as can be determined to date, Winifred and her husband, James Delaney immigrated to the US c mid 1860s-early 70s and lived in the Mahanoy City area where they had 3 girls born in 1874,75 and 77, Anna,Catherine and Winifred, who were baptized in the Church of Saint Canicus, Mahanoy City.  Godparents were all Brennans, Patrick, Elizabeth, Michael and Julia.

Julia Brennan, I believe, was Winifred's sister, who married a Michael Cannon.

Probably all the men worked in the mines. Have not yet been able to determine what county in Ire they all came from and would like to post the names with the hopes of making a connection .
