Welcome to GO JENSON!
Formula 1 news from Yahoo! sports:
This site is dedicated to Britain's rising F1 star, Jenson Button, who holds the record as Britain's youngest ever F1 driver, and also the youngest driver of all to score a world championship point.

Jenson was employed to replace Alex Zanardi, and in his first year he made good use of his opportunity.

He was impressive from the word go, being denied a well-earned point in his first race by a mechanical problem, and throughout the season he was hard to miss, finishing fourth in Germany after starting last, and qualifying third at Spa.

When Juan-Pablo Montoya was signed up for 2001 by Williams, Button was in great demand, being snaped up by Benetton on a 2-year loan from Williams, who hold an option on his services until 2004.

2001 was unfortunately one of Jenson's toughest years, with an innovative but underperforming wide-angle Renault engine severely hampering the Benetton team for the first half of the season, leading to Benetton's worst points tally and championship position ever. However Jenson claims he has learned many valuable lessons and will emerge a better driver as a result.

In 2002 Benetton Renault has transformed into Renault sport, and Renault is not a company with an appetite for failure, it's engines having won every contructors' championship from 1992 until 1997! They mean business and continue their daring technological advances with rumours circulating that next year they will replace camshafts with electronically-operated valves.

Jenson must perform as his contract finishes at the end of the year and he has to prove himself wothy of a decent 2003 drive.
