Hi, my name is Jaquetta C Walterscheid, a South West native of the Texas Lonestar desert high plains. I was born and raised in a small rural farming community of Farwell, TX, located in the center of the bible-belt. After my husband started his cactus collection & ministry over 10 years ago, our prickly pear really began to multipy and with them so did the prickly pear fruit & what to do with them as well. So, that's when the jam & jelly making hobby was started and after the word quickly spread around town & surrounding communities, it became a marketing success!
