4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 eggs
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1. Stir sugar into apples and let stand 15 minutes. Mix in oil and then eggs.
2. Mix together dry ingredients (no need to sift) and stir into apple mixture.
3. Add chocolate chips and mix. Mixture will be stiff.
4. Spoon into greased 9x13 pan {or bundt pan} and bake for 45-55 minutes in a 350 oven. Serve warm.
5. I baked it for an hour in a cake bundt pan
Glaze:
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
2 Table spoons of apple juce
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine and mix well. Pour over cake after it cools for a little while.
