7 and a half inch medaliion
- Finsihed size
- Add borders to make a 22 inch finsihed size for preemies
up to 30 inch finished for term babies.
- Hint: If you add 3 inch cut strips
- Three borders make a 22 inch quilt
Four make a 25 inch quilt
Five make a 28 inch quilt (any of these sizes is fine)

Fetal Demise Pounch
Fetal Demise Pouches: Used for early losses, or infants that are
too small or fragile to be dressed
- Cut two 10 by 10 inch squares of any fabric, cotton, cotton
blend, flannel, batiste, small pastel print or even darker
- Cut one of these 10 by 10 inch squares diagonally (corner to
corner) on the bias for the pouch. This will give you one square
and two triangles
- Lay one triangle aside for the pouch.
- On the triangle, serve or sew the bias edge first (the long
edge) and zigzag on the lace.
- Lay the pouch (triangle) on to the square and serge or sew all around the
four sides
- Add lace or embellish as you like
- Option: You can line the entire pouch with the same or different
fabric
