Doors and steps

We get a string of 60+ degree days so I catch up on all the outside work.  The crawlspace entry was just a bunch of stacked concrete blocks.  I insert rebar and pour concrete inside the blocks, setting anchor bolts for the steel door frame.  After the concrete hardens, I bolt down a pressure treated wood sill plate and bolt the door frame to the sill and the house.  I thought the "Kansas style storm doors" would look appropriate on a Victorian.

Inside, our tile guy returns to finish the last third of our tile work.  Here's a shot of the master shower tile.  We still haven't ordered the glass shower enclosure - need to put that on my to-do list . . .

All of the inside doors are installed and a bunch of misc. tasks get crossed off the list too.

A couple of the outside doors get paint or clear coating protection during the lull in winter.  I also cut and install a few stair stringers and treads for access to the backdoor and east porch.
