Siding progress

The siding team is working around the house clockwise, starting at the south side.  Edges and interfaces are carefully flashed with 4 inch X 4 inch "L" flashing, or 3/4 inch z-bar flashing.

All siding and trim cracks are caulked - 3 cases of caulk so far.

The west gable has square edge cedar shingles with three rows of diamond or round shingles.  We will paint these gingerbread rows with offsetting trim colors to high light them in a classic victorian style.

The team has wrapped around the north side of the house and started to shingle the north gable.  Summer's record string of 61(!) 90 degree days (Sunday was 95 degrees) ends with 2 rain days and a forecast for 4 inches of snow.  Fall is brief here.
