Man Discovers Fire

     And fire is good.  I believe it is T - 002's rear triangle there, rear-rear placement on La-Z-Boy.  Perhaps the heaviest bike in the fleet, although it never has slept over at the shop.  Big, big, big wheelbase makes this a ride for going mostly straight, mostly fast.  Wheelies are near impossible.   A seat mounted 5-speed shifter makes it sane on the hills.  The lights work if you kick in the rear-wheel mounted generator.  Yeah, right, like just maybe, maybe on a big downhill.

     The fork is a classic reproduction of Chunk stylings, but expertly welded and grinded and painted that pearly blue.  All the chrome is lots shinier than it looks in the picture.  More than two standard bicycle chains are neccessary in the drive chain.  L-l-long and La-Z.  Tom rides his bike faithfully to work most everyday.

I am sad that Tom is upset by his portrayal in these pages at times. I do my best to keep everyone happy as can be, and need feedback to make this the truest of causes. Apologies where necessary.

The Fair Lady

The Fair Lady is Schwinn stock until we get to the choppified fork.  She is Lady Carrie's mount.  Two standard forks were chopped via saw and welded into the snaky S-curve of the Fair Lady's frontispiece.  This is the second longest sissy-bar in the club, by a few inches, but makes it in a photo.   Catch that matching seat and basket combination.  The fork is revesible if you really want it to be, but don't piss off the circus clowns in your hood.  Hmm, looks like that same blue paint...
