In all, 103 DCD Swimmers competed (a team record) and 70% of the swims were life best times. Now that the coaching staff is spoiled by having most of their swimmers at a meet, we would love to see them one weekend a month for the rest of the year!
The coaching staff would like to wish all of you and yours a happy holiday season. We hope to see everyone at our holiday celebration on December 11th at Westlake Park Doelger Cafe (at 6:00pm sharp). Don't forget our Christmas sharing program to help families who need assistance at this time of year. Bring your donations to the dinner.
Our next team outing will be at the Zone Championships in February, so make your plans NOW to be there.
Don't forget to keep DECEMBER 11th (Friday evening) open for our annual Christmas Pot Luck Celebration. We will be meeting at the Doelger Cafe (111 Lake Merced Blvd. in Westlake) at 6:00pm sharp. Don't be late!!
The phone committee will call you about bringing a dish for the meal. Also, make plans to bring a gift to a needy family in our area, in keeping with our DCD tradition.
Enclosed with this newsletter is a list of family members, and the ages of each. Match the first letter of your last name on the list, and then purchase an item for a family less fortunate than ourselves. At the PotLuck you can drop off your gift, and be generous won't you?
At our Pot Luck Dinner, each one of our DCD swimmers will receive a special gift, so let's have a 100% turnout... don't miss your special present!!
