Dave Mirra



Originally from Syracuse, NY, Dave Mirra is nicknamed the Miracle Boy: watch Dave Mirra ride and you'll see why. Despite a period of injuries (Dave was hit by a car in 1993, resulting in a dislocated shoulder and bloodclot in his brain; in 1995 he crashed hard and had to have his spleen removed), Dave continues to be at the top of his game, constantly raising the standards. Dave owns a skatepark in Wilmington, NC. Seeing him ride live at the 1999 XGames in San Francisco was more incredible than I thought it'd be; this boy really is that good!
