This beach is suited in Genova in front of Corso Italia and it is divided in two parts, the little beach and the big beach.
In the little one, you can surf waves from 0.5 to 1,5 mt, in fact if the conditions are very good (2 mt waves) you don't have the time to return on the line-up 'cause of the foam.
I often surf in this beach 'cause I surf almost on summer, and the waves are quite small. The pic below and the pic on the top of the page are taken in this beach on October '96, within wave conditions of 1,5 mt.The only person who surf this beach in Summer are: Matteo Bettocchi (me, surf and body), Aldo Giachero (bodyboard), Cristiano Ghersi (bodyboard),Davide Cecconi (body), and Riccardo Cappello (bodyboard), there are some other people like the little boys who are learning bodyboard and some good surfers (sometimes). Definitely, the local are the first 4 named.In the big one you can surf well good quality diagonal 2 - 3 mt waves. In this beach you can find very good surfers in the winter and in the Autumn, when the balnear season is closed
, in fact, the owner of the beach is not very friendly and she doesn't want you surf .
On shores of S-W wind (libeccio) very strong, you can't surf at all, in fact there is no way to enter or catch. The last is the bigger that I can remember. The waves were plus than 4 meters. The tubes were perfect, and the foam was everywhere.
