Aerospace
Engineering: In the past, one of man’s favorite dreams was to fly. He watched
birds swoop through the air and navigate with utmost ease; since then his mind grew and he
began to build aircraft and spacecraft which could easily and safely glide through the air
like a bird. These special men and women who build these incredible machines are none
other than aerospace engineers. They research, design, test and produce commercial and
military aircraft, missiles, spacecraft, automobiles, and submarines. To qualify for a
position in this career one must be curious and creative, plus have the ability to express
oneself clearly in speech and writing, and he/she should work well with others as a team.
Aerospace engineers work on a narrow point of view; however they need to be much more
conservative than liberal, considering the number of people at risk who will be flying on
an airplane which may crash.
