WHA vs NHL Exhibition Games
It was said by many that the WHA had better talent then the NHL, although the NHL had better depth. The WHA was very eager to show people that they were worth watching and they were better then the NHL teams. The WHA's Winnipeg Jets was one team which in my opnion could have taken on any of the NHL teams, even the mighty Montreal Canadiens. Here is a list of the Exhibition games which the WHA and NHL teams had against eachother.
Here are two photos of the WHA Winnipeg Jets playing the NHL's New York Rangers. The two teams faced off twice, and the Rangers won both games.
