Lake Brunner is situated on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. It is a popular holiday spot and the main railway line across the southern Alps skirts the shores of the lake. There are a number of holiday homes around the lake, and a small settlement called Moana. There is a Camping ground, Hotel, Motels, and Service Station.	Bush Track which leads to the swing bridge across the mouth of the Arnold river, which is the outflow of the lake.
