What is Paintball?
Paintball is laying behind a tree as you hear you enemy moving in closer to you...
Paintball is running through the trees as fast as you can, hearing the sound of the enemy closing in on you, heart racing, adrenaline pumping,(What a rush) diving behind a stump to take cover from the none stop paint pellets flying past you at 200+ feet per second...
Paintball is the rush of VICTORY as you bring the other team's flag back to yours...
Paintball=Adrenaline RUSH!
Who Can Play?
The majority of the payers are men and women over the age of 18. I however have seen field that let Players as young a 11 play with a prior arrangement with the field owner. Almost ever shape and size can play paintball, if your a bigger person you can stay back and play defense. Or if your the faster slimmer type you can play offense either way you will have fun there is no stop to the excitement!
What Should I Wear?
1. GOOD SHOES. You should wear cleated shoes if you have them or hiking boots. High top shoes (or boots) that provide ankle protection are the best. Or just a good shoe that will grip and give you support.
2. LAYERING your clothes is the key to protection and comfort. Several light layer are much better than one heavy layer. Layering provides better absorption of the impact if you get tagged. Also it allows for adjusting your comfort level to the temperature. Playing paintball can be stenuous, and getting too hot can be a concern, Avoid tight clothes and fabrics that don't breath.
3. CAMOUFLAGE IS IMPORTANT! This is important because it hides you which decreases the chance of you being seen and hit! Your camo should be an earth-tone color like green, dark blue, or black.
What is Needed to Play?
The field makes available all the equipment that is necessary to play. That includes the paintball marker, safety goggles, and a protective mask and top quality paint!
What Does It Cost?
A complete Day of play will cost any where between $30.00-$60.00 this includes everything necessary to play. Of course you may spend more or less depending on your style of play.
Safety!
The paintball industry is committed to making paintball enjoyable and safe for all our patrons. Therefore, every player must follow all directions given before the game. To date, independent non-paintball associations are gauging paintball activities to be safer than many older more established sporting endeavors.
