Our original aims were:
| Have fun |
| Introduce new people to the sport |
| Get to know the local countryside |
| Keep in shape |
| Enhance technical knowledge and skills for experienced
bikers |
| Provide an Intel presence at national bike events and
competitions |
| Get to meet other employees |
We have since grown to a weekly ride attendance of 30 people, a mailing list of 230
names, many from outside of Intel. We are now by far the biggest mountain biking club in
Haifa. During 1997 we participated in every major national bike race, winning 1st place in
the male group category at the Golan Heights race. We had 15 members ride in the Dan to
Eilat ride organized by Shahal. This year (1998) we have over 30 people training for the
Cross-Israel ride.
We hold weekly Friday rides in and around Haifa, and once a month go for a longer
trips further away, and since summer 1998 full weekend trips.
For more information, or to join our email list for ride announcement, contact either:
Paul Schuster or Doron Stein.
