Playing Styles When I first started playing Paintball six years ago I was very apprehensive about being aggressive. I was happy to be on the field having some fun with friends. The more I played I began to see the objective of the game. Before you can get aggressive however you must become comfortable with your own game. Are you able to make the right choice on the field? Can you lead your team in the right direction? Can you communicate with the players on the field? If you can't do these things, then maybe you should consider laying back and guarding the flag. I've played conservative and aggressive games, but when I'm making the push for the flag with our runner I have more fun than when I'm just hanging back. Learn to make the right choices about cover, angles of attack, and when to push. Then you will feel a lot better about your game. If you can't play aggressive then don't feel bad not everyone can this way. We all have our place on the field, mine just happens to be in the middle of the fight. If your not going to play aggressive 'ball then learn proper techniques to get in cover, how to hold your own without giving up ground, and most important...... listen for your guys who need your help in a fire fight. Always remember what you have to do on the field, "GET THE FLAG!!!." Make a plan, stick with it and if it fails go back and figure out why. Then fix the problem. Remember it is just a game so have fun and don't take it like the end of the world if you lose. Even Napoleon lost a few battles.
