BAITED BREATH


The Baited Breath is another of the flatwater bonefish/tarpon flies that has proven its worth on a multitude of species.
Tied to represent a small shrimp or baitfish it has accounted for such species as trevally, bream, flathead and queenfish.
Materials :

Hook : Size 4-2/0 Mustad 34007 or Gamakatsu SS15
Eyes : Bead Chain or lead dumbell size to suit hook tied in at bend of hook.
Tail : Marabou or hackles. 6-10 strands of Krystalflash. 1 Hackle tied dry fly style behind eyes.
Body : Chenille, maxibraid or dubbing.
This fly can be tied in just about any colour scheme with pinks, olives and blacks being effective. Go for it and good fishing.
