EPOXY SHRIMP

Bob Popovics is a name well known to saltwater flyfishermen throughout the world. He is responsible for the Poplips, Siliclone and the Surf Candy among others. he is also responsible for the Epoxy Shrimp. Whether or not he was the first to utilize 5 minute epoxy in this way he is generally given the honors.
The epoxy shrimp is basically a match the hatch style fly being a near perfect imitation of a jelly shrimp or prawn. It is easy to tie and is quite hardy. I've caught over 30 fish on the one fly before retiring it.
This fly has accounted for black bream, threadfin salmon, mangrove jack, giant herring and flathead. However any species actively feeding on shrimps will take this fly.
