HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Hardcore Holly (champ) vs. Al Snow w/Head
Great match. Snow is busted open
from the start. Weapons used include a gallon of water, a hockey
stick, a broom, frying pans, and a table. Strange sight of the
match: As the two were fighting in the backstage area, onlookers
included Faarooq, standing with Sgt. Slaughter! After Holly
failed to pin Snow following a superplex through a table, Snow
immediately grabbed Head and used it as a weapon, pinning Holly
and becoming the new Hardcore Champion.
INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Godfather (champ) vs. Goldust w/Blue Meanie
Strange match. Meanie starts
things out by doing Sable's Grind ("This is for all the
women who came to see me, and for all the men who want to be
me!") After Goldust tries to throw powder in the eyes of the
Godfather, which backfired, Goldust started to beat up the
Meanie, believeing he was the Godfather! He even gave him the
Shattered Dreams! The Godftather then gave the Ho Train to both
of them in the same corner, he pinned Goldust following the DVD.
New Age Outlaws vs. Jeff Jarrett/Owen
Hart w/Debra
Debra comes out with her skimpiest
outfit yet (just a jacket, bra, and panties!). Crowd started to
chant "We want puppies!" during the match. As for the
match, nothing special. Jarrett goes for the figure four on Gunn,
but he kicks out of it and kicks Jarrett out of the ring. Hart,
who was putting the Sharpshooter on Dogg, receives a Famasser
from Gunn, who pins him for the victory.
BOILER ROOM BRAWL:
Mankind vs. Paul Wight
Great match. Wight gets his head
busted open and Mankind gets his hand busted open! At one point,
it looked like the match was going to end when a large table fell
on Mankind, but he got up in a minute and smashed a glass window
over the head of Wight! Wight then chokeslammed Mankind off a
ladder, through 2 tables and glass! "He's Hardcore! He's
Hardcore!" In the end, Mankind managed to win by exited the
boiler room, but then the Big Bossman and Test ran in and
attacked the two. Bossman was chased out, and Test received Mr.
Socko.
X-Pac vs. Triple H w/Chyna
Triple H focused the entire match
on X-Pac's neck (he has had 2 severe neck injuries in the past).
After the ref was knocked out, X-Pac hit Triple H with the X
Factor, but Chyna interfered and gave X-Pac a scorpion death drop
(inverted DDT). Kane then comes out and chokeslams both Triple H
and Chyna, and then leaves. X-Pac recovers and gives the bronco
buster on both Triple H and Chyna, but Triple H surprises X-Pac
and Pedigrees him for the victory.
Undertaker vs. Ken Shamrock
Oh My God, was this match boring
as hell! Bottom line, Undertaker wins with the Tombstone.
Afterwards, Bradshaw attacks Shamrock with a baseball bat.
WWF CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Steve Austin (champ) vs. The Rock
Special guest referee: Shane McMahon
Great match. These two fought all
over the arena. Not as hardcore as previous matches, but still
very good. The Rock hits Austin with a Rockbottom throught the
Spanish announcers' table, and Austin hits the Stunner on the
English announcers' table (as seen through the Rock-cam). Shane
accidentally KO's the Rock with the championship belt, and Austin
goes for the 3 count, but Shane stops counting at 2. Austin
chases Shane out of the ring, but Vince surprises Shane and hits
him with Austin's championship belt! Austin hits the Stunner on
the Rock, followed by a belt to the head. Referee Earl Hebner
counts the 3 and Austin wins. Vince then throws Austin his
custom-made belt and leaves.
Meanwhile, as Stephanie is waiting in a limo, the Ministry surrounds the car, and security tell the limo driver to leave. We then see that the Undertaker is the limo driver!
