Legion of Doom 2000 w/Sunny & Darren "Puke" Drozdov vs. DOA w/Chainz
LOD are getting worse and worse as the days go by. I sincerely believe that they should consider retiring before they get too old. Hey, maybe that's what the "2000" part means. They're going to retire in the year 2000. Ah, well. DOA looked much better, and they were the heels for this match. Puke and Chainz got into it a little big, but not too much. I smell a Puke/Chainz match coming up at KOTR. As for the ending, 8-ball switches with Skull illegally. Ref is distracted, and Puke hits the illegal member of DOA with a clothesline, allowing Animal to hit him with a powerslam and pinning him for the victory.

The Rock interview
He comes out and insults the city of Milwaukee, WI, saying that if he lived there, he'd be drinking so much beer that he would never get to the place where he is now. Faarooq runs in and attacks the Rock, piledriving him on a chair. The NOD run in, but Faarooq runs out. The Rock needs some medical attention, and is taken away on a stretcher with his neck in a brace.

Steve Blackman vs. Jeff Jarrett w/Tennessee Lee
No flashing hat or glasses??!!?? Why? Not much to talk about here. Highlight of the match was when Blackman tied JJ up in the "tree of woe," then exited the ring and pulled back on JJ's head and neck. Ouch! For the end of the match, the ref is distracted (as usual), JJ grabs one of Blackman's glowing sticks (don't know what they're called) and tries to use them, but Blackman counters and uses the stick on JJ. Blackman then goes up to the top rope, but Lee uses the stick on Blackman, knocking him off the top rope. JJ then manages to pin him for the victory.

Marc Mero vs. ??? w/Sable
If Marc Mero wins, Sable must leave the WWF. If Sable's wrestler wins, Mero will give Sable her freedom. Interesting match. Mero comes out first, then Sable, dressed for battle! She says that she got herself into this trouble, and she'll end it. Mero says he's going to give her her freedom back and lays down in the middle of the ring for her to pin him. She goes for the pin, but Mero reverses it and pins her for the victory.

HANDICAP TAG TEAM MATCH:
TAKA Michinoku/Bradshaw vs. Kaientai (Dick Togo, Mens Teho, Funaki) w/Yamaguchi San
We finally learn, from JR, why they hate TAKA. They believe he was "Americanized" when he won the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Ah, that's it. Great match when TAKA was in it, horrible when Bradshaw wrestled. It looked like Gulliver and the Liliputians. Great Michinoku Driver on Dick Togo during the match (looked like he landed on his head). In the end, Togo pinned TAKA after a Centon Bomb (why can't they just call it a centon?).

INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
The Rock (c) vs. Faarooq
Faarooq comes out first, then Rocky doens't show up. After two tries, Sgt. Slaugther comes out and says that if the Rock doesn't compete, he will be stripped of the belt. Now he comes out. Again, not much to talk about. First, Faarooq pins Rocky for a three count, and he thinks he wins. But Rocky's foot was on the ropes at the last second, so the match continues. Then, in the corner, Rocky pulls Faarooq's legs out from under him and pins him with his feet on the top rope, but the ref doesn't realize it and the Rock wins. Faarooq then attacks Rocky with two piledrivers. The NOD run in and attack Faarooq, but he's saved by Degeneration X.

LOSER LOSES MASK:
Vader vs. Kane w/Paul Bearer
Slow match, mostly brawling. Vader did more than I expected him to do because of a leg injury. After he misses a huge moonsault, Kane Tombstones him and pins him for the win. Paul Bearer then pulls off Vader's mask and puts it on himself. AFter the match in an interview, Vader admits that he lost and that he's a fat piece of sh*t.

SPECIAL CEREMONY
They honor Milwaukee legends Mad Dog Vachon (the man that Diesel pulled his fake leg off during a match with Shawn Michaels a few years ago) and The Crusher. Lawler gets POed at these guys and confronts them, making fun of them. He goes for Vachon's leg, and the Crusher hits him with a bolo punch. Lawler tries again and takes off his leg this time, and the Crusher takes care of him once again. Finally, Lawler goes in again and is hit in the head with the fake leg!

NOD (Owen Hart/Kama/D-Lo) vs. DX (Triple H/New Age Outlaws)
Again, a lot of brawling. Chyna hits Mark Henry during the course of the match. When the ref is distracted by a fight on the outside, Owen Hart Pedigrees Triple H onto a championship belt and pins him for the victory.

WWF CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
Steve Austin (c) vs. Dude Love
This is a big one, so let's get started. First off, the Fink gives quite a complimentry introduction for guest ring announcer, Pat Patterson. Then, Patterson gives a great introduction for guest time keeper, Gerald Brisco, even giving out the address and phone number of Brisco Bros. Body Shop down in Florida. But Mr. McMahon's intro was the best, saying such lines as "we laughed with him, we cried with him." Give me a break! Dude Love came next, then Austin. But Patterson refused to introduce "the bum." He comes out, but before the match officially begins, the Undertaker shows up to make sure that Vince is not partial to Dude.
Match was extreme. First, it was a regular match. Then, when Dude was thrown over a table, Patterson reminded everyone that this was a "No Holds Barred" match. What??? Then, when Dude and Austin were on the ramp, he reminded everyone that this was a "Falls Count Anywhere" match. They're making up rules as they go along! Here's the ending of the match. Vince is arguing with Ausin, and gives Austin the finger. Dude accidentally hits Vince over the head with a chair, knocking him out. Austin hits the Stunner, but there's no one to count. Earl Hebner runs in and starts the count, but Patterson pulls him out. Dude puts the Mandible Claw on Austin, Patterson enters the ring and goes to count. But the Undertaker chokeslams him through an announcer's table! Brisco goes in, and is also chokeslammed through a table. Dude gets up and is Stunned! Vince is still out, so Austin grabs Vince's limp hand and registers a three count for himself, again. Austin retains the championship.
