CANNIBAL CORPSE - The Bleeding (7.4 on the Richter scale)

This is an album not to be reckoned with, just sit back and enjoy the intensity of the battering your ears are getting. The barrage of volume and power chords, the explosive drumming, the thumpin' bass and the spawned-of-death gut-vocals. Don't worry if your ears start to bleed, that's normal when listening to Cannibal Corpse. Some would say the most vile, repulsive and disgusting band on earth, and fuck I'd agree... but that's why we like the boys. As usual for a corpse CD, there are some very, very kick ass bass solo's so for all you bassists like me out there. You'll enjoy this CD immensely! Don't you just hate the chart music where it's all pacified and generalised? Well Cannibal Corpses sole intent is to challenge you to think, get involved. You could easily brand them repulsive and do what the censors do and trash their music. But there is more to the corpse than that, and this album proves it. The pure adrenaline rush you get just from cranking this album is worth all the trouble it took you to get it. I would have to say the best song is 'Stripped, Raped and Strangled'. At least check this CD out.. get some death metal into your life.
