Front Range Trails

Riders: Dana, Natalie, Erik, Adam
Trails: Front Range trails
Distance: 10 miles
Date: June 1 and June 3, 2001

Dana showed me this area for the first time on Friday after work. Then on Sunday I decided to ride it again, this time with Natalie, Erik, and their friend Adam. Located high above Boulder Canyon on Magnolia Road, the "Star Wars" trails, as Dana calls them, are a network of singletrack paths through alpine meadows and pine, fir, and aspen forests.

Erik riding through the "Car Wash", so named because the pine boughs
give you a good scrubbing as you ride this narrow section of trail.
