Dana showed me this area for the first time on Friday after work. Then on Sunday I decided to ride it again, this time with Natalie, Erik, and their friend Adam. Located high above Boulder Canyon on Magnolia Road, the "Star Wars" trails, as Dana calls them, are a network of singletrack paths through alpine meadows and pine, fir, and aspen forests.

rocky section of trail.
Contemplating an extreme descent...
An extreme descent.
Natalie, Adam, and Erik riding a
friendlier section of the trail.
A gorgeous aspen meadow.
Views of the Continental Divide are
never too shabby.
Erik riding through the "Car
Wash", so named because the pine boughs
give you a good scrubbing as you ride
this narrow section of trail.
Adam rides some very cool
singletrack through the forest.
