Report of The Rock and Chyna on MSNBC 8/16

The Rock and Chyna were interviewed around 4pm this afternoon by 2 MSNBC News Correspondents where they discussed little tidbits concerning why they were in attendance. The interview began with footage of President Clinton walking down a hall alone which looked similar to a titantron video. Then shown is footage and Rock entering the wrestling arena as he does every night. Next up Rock and Chyna are introduced by their real and wrestling names names, Joanie "Chyna" Laurer and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Reporter starts by asking Rock how he feels about the Democrats stealing his entrance, as they look at the Clinton footage and whether there was any animosity... Rock responds by saying if there was anyone who could steal his entrance, it would hafta be President Clinton so no hard feelings cause Rock's the People's Champion...then they started asking him about movies amd actors with similar entrances and did Rock take credit for that and he says no and they cant raise the ppl's eyebrow(which he does real quick)

The correspondent then ask Rock who was he and why was he there. Rock says he was affectionately known by fans as The Rock and that he was there for the same reason he attended the RNC, the encourage the WWF demographic of 14 million eligle people to register to vote in the "Smackdown Your Vote Campaign" and that no matter what you are(Democrat or Republican) or what financial status or class your in...everyone's vote counts and that we were all equal, let your voice be heard. Rock was then asked was he trying to sway voters in a particular way and also asked did he have a particular side chosen and would he like to say publicly...The Rock replied that no he wasnt attempting to sway voters to a particular side and that he is leaning to a particular side but because of his influence over his fans, he would not want to say whether he was Bush or Gore. But Rock did say that before the elections in November he would devulge publicly what side he's on....

Next Chyna was interviewed where she was asked the same questions on her political choices. She stated that she had just registered to vote today and that she is getting very interested in the political process, and that she was also here to encourage the 14 million eligible viewers. She says she felt more strongly about it because some of those 14 million were women.
She says she will be becoming more involved and represent women in the work place since she is a person who works in an environment with men and takes an equal stand. Chyna was then asked if she had either Bush or Gore printed on her bathrobe, would that have an influence her fans.....Rock pipes in and replies that it would get the fans excited to see her in a bathrobe which got a chuckle from everyone...Chyna replied that she didnt know if that would or not then she mentioned that the first week of their campaign garnered 10,000 ppl registering and the second week garnered another 10,000.

Next they were asked about Jesse Ventura and commented on how he has such an influence over listeners and how Ventura makes such an impact and asked Rock would he like to do that one day...Rock says yes someday he would down the line like to get more involved on the political world and he says that like Chyna, he was also getting very interested in the political process and would be voting this November....To end the news guys thanked Rock and Chyna for "smacking down" with them and that was it.....
