The Proceed is the first 1/8 scale
racing kit from HPI Racing. For serious racers looking for the ultimate in
speed and tuning capability, look no further! This is the kit to have.
Capable of 0-60 in less than 3
seconds on the way to a top speed in excess of 70 mph, the Proceed is not
for the faint of heart! This is a kit for the truly hard-core racer who
wants to experience the most demanding on-road R/C racing experience. With
A final races routinely an hour long at most club events, 1/8 scale
on-road racing is a very rigorous and exacting hobby!
These
are pictures of the production version of the new HPI Proceed, our car
that will compete against the likes of the Serpent Vector, Picco Integra
and Mugen Avance/MRX cars! The 1/8th scale racing class has long been
considered the "Formula 1 of R/C racing", and with cars like the
Proceed, it's very easy to see why! This is a very serious racing car,
easily capable of speeds in excess of 70mph.
The
Proceed features a 5mm thick 7075S aluminum chassis, 2.5mm thick woven
graphite radio deck (this is optional on other 1/8 scale cars),
quick-change front and rear wheels, double wishbone suspension, dual
kingpin pivot balls for the front and rear uprights, adjustable front
swaybar, thick steel brake disk with fiber disk pads, and threaded shock
bodies for quick ride height adjustment.

ball bearings throughout the car, center mounted steering servo with
turnbuckle toe-in adjustment and a heavy-duty servo saver, balanced radio
plate design with a center-mounted receiver pack, center-mounted fuel tank
with built-in fuel baffles to prevent fuel foaming, sliding-type
adjustable front swaybar, thick rear sway bar, floating rear body mount,
easy shock mounting system with Allen screws and pivot pins, no e-clip
pivot joints for all suspension hingepins, adjustable front caster with
easy to use clips, and new six-spoke wheels with easy access to suspension
adjustment screws!
