Friendship
From a young age, friendship has always mean a great deal to me. I remembered when I was in primary school, I used to have two good friends. Both of them were guys so my classmates often teased me,saying they are my bodyguards. One of them was called Wenhui but I called him "Xiao Fei Ji" because he likes to make paper aeroplanes and the other was called Weiwen. The three of us were very close and we sticked to each other in times of happiness and sadness. That was a time which I treasured because I remembered that as pure friendship. It's a point in my life where it was recognised that a boy and a girl would be just friends. Sadly today we no longer stay in contact. Perhaps as we grow older, it became harder for us to differentiate what's love and what's friendship isn't it? Primary school leaves me with many memories about friendship, both happy and sad. An unhappy event I will always remember is the loss of a best friend. Someone which I thought would trust me more than anyone else.
When I stepped into secondary school, the loss of my best friend in primary school still haunted me. Therefore I was particularly cautious about my friends. I examined their characters and at times, I'm afraid to get close to them. This fear means that I no longer treat my friends that well. However my friends never gave up on me. They only got better. I will always remember the first time my friends celebrated my birthday and the day when they turned up in full force for my guitar concert in junior college. That was the turning point for me. I started to realise how important friendship is.
Without friends, everyday will be boring. A person can go without love, but cannot go on without friends. There's the difference between love and friendship. I hope for love but I hope more for friendship. To me, friendship is gold and it will always be my no. 1. Zhen de jue bu neng shi qu ni men...
