As a young Singaporean teenager, I have always hope for love. It is often comforting to imagine that someone would be by your side when you are sad. When I was young, I always thought that love was beautiful. It's about two people sitting hand in hand watching the sunrise and sunset together and it's always something eternal. Until today I still believe that love has to be that beautiful. I always dream of such foolish little things. But dreams are dreams. Dreams are meant to be perfect yet unrealistic. During my secondary school days, Dad and Mum were particularly strict in ensuring that their only daughter - me did not get involved in any relationship. Haha come to think of it, I think that's really funny. Okie, firstly everytime they saw me with a guy, Dad would go "Jos ah, study hard, don't waste time on guys lah."Then I would go "Gosh Dad!"Haha but which girl doesn't dream of meeting her knight in shining armour?
Okie but for me, love means marriage. Without marriage, how could there possibly be a fairy-tale ending rite? But how often can that be true? Haha, all of us know and must accept that. The important thing is to remain optimistic...Just as Linzhi say on 28th March, "If one day the person you loved does not love you the way you want him/her to be, do not be sad, be encouraged 'cos he/she has chosen to love you in a different way."Always remember that, hope for love but never be saddened by the loss of it. :P
