2.  From Route 9 take exit # 16 (Portland / Willimantic) to Route 66 East & 17 North.

3.  Follow exit ramp up the hill and go through a traffic light, the road will then bear to the right and pass over the Connecticut river on a big blue steel bridge (this is Route 66 East & 17 North.)

4.  After crossing the bridge turn right at the first traffic light you come to.  This will be Route 66 East and you should see a Brooks Pharmacy & Burger King there.)

5.  Follow Route 66 East for about 4.5 miles, you will go straight through five traffic lights and continue on.

6.  Soon you will pass a Texaco gas station on your left and Portland Power Supply on your right, continue on.

7.  Next you will see a gift shop on your right followed by Woodings Farm & Greenhouse, this is where you will turn right onto Payne Blvd.

8.  Follow Payne Blvd. until you come to a fork in the road, bear left at this point and continue on.  This road will run straight into Wellwyn Drive.  Bob's house is directly across from the stop sign. It is of brick construction and sits on top of a small hill.
