I have decided to drop out of the team for this season, as this may come as a bit of a shock and at such short notice I understand that of you may start to panic. I think it is time for me to have a break from the pressure and let someone else have a crack at being " La capitano ".

I am not saying that I will never play again just that enough is enough. I have too much going on to worry about it at the moment. I do have a fixture list, which I have scanned in for you I hope you can read it.

I suggest that someone decides to take over the reigns and you all vote on the outcome I am afraid that I wish to have no part in it.

I understand that I am letting down a few people such as you.

I would particularly like to apologise to my newer players such as Brian Joe and Andy. Remember to play to the best of your ability - you are in a tough league this season and there will be some tough games ahead of you don’t worry if you lose a few along the way keep your head up and play on.

As for the old School players you are the people that will hold the team together don’t let the side down. Turn up week in week out if you want this team to stay together and succeed.

And for whoever takes over as captain. Simply GOOD LUCK

I would also like to point out that the £30.00 sub was paid out of my own pocket this time around. I still want a fair percentage of that back I will obviously forget about my slice. I reckon 3 quid each will cover it.

But as I said I am afraid that I want no part playing this season and I would like to apologise for that but I cannot. If you are confused talk amongst yourselves and if certain people are honest with you and you are clever enough then you maybe able to figure it out.

I would like to declare my belligerence about the whole substantiality of the matter and will categorically state that I will not be persuaded otherwise under any other conditions to change my mind.

I hope the team does well, please keep me informed. The presentation night is in Sept. I will inform you of the date in the near future. I would like one of you at the very least to go as a rep for the team to collect the trophies. All players that played in last summer league are entitled to one including me and would appreciate it being passed on to me.as soon as it is convenient.
