Top Ten Ways to Make Your Cybertown Life More Fun

for new CT residents, by skiescall

  • #10 - Choose your neighborhood and block based on your interests. You'll meet people who are into the same things you are.

  • #9 - Get a job and do it well. Besides meeting people you'll also have another reason to log on often.

  • #8 - Hang out in the public areas - the Plaza and the Flea Market are both great places to meet people.

  • #7 - Get involved in block and hood activities. Read and post on the message boards and go to events and parties.

  • #6 - Join some clubs. It may take a few tries to find one that both fits your interests and has an active membership. Keep trying!

  • #5 - If you can't find a club to match your interests, open one when you have 500 exp.

  • #4 - Read the daily news. All citywide events are announced there, along with colony and club activities.

  • #3 - Attend citywide events! January's live concert was cool; February's Mardi Gras should be awesome too.

  • #2 - Get your RL friends to immigrate! You'll get 500cc if they use you as the referral, plus you'll have instant CT buddies!

  • #1 - Don't be a snert! CT is a family chat area; profanity and/or sexual references are not acceptable. Chatting in all caps is considered rude and/or shouting. "Flooding" is also considered extremely rude. Any of the above can and will get you removed from the chat. Read the CT Constitution at the Newcomer's Club for more information.
