My truck the day I towed it home

Me and my truck

This is how the interior looked when I started with it

The interior is getting better, but is far from finished

A week after I owned it

The first thing I did was strip the truck to the frame (excluding the cab) and painted it

I pulled the original motor because of a cracked block. In preparation for the new motor I cleaned up the front half of the frame and the firewall and painted them.

The new motor that I dropped in is a 235 6-cylinder bolted to the original three-speed transmission. My Grandpa came over with his tractor to put the motor between the frame rails

The engine nestled in its home in the frame. It looks alot better than how the original motor did (as seen in the photo three pictures up). Shortly after the motor was in, I masked off the engine compartment and painted the block chevy orange.
