LEFT: The first thing I did was strip the truck to the frame (excluding the cab) and painted it

RIGHT: I pulled the original motor because of a cracked block. In preparation for the new motor I cleaned up the front half of the frame and the firewall and painted them.


The new motor that I dropped in is a 235 6-cylinder bolted to the original three-speed transmission. My Grandpa came over with his tractor to put the motor between the frame rails


The engine nestled in its home in the frame. It looks alot better than how the original motor did. Shortly after the motor was in, I masked off the engine compartment and painted the block chevy orange.
