LEFT: The first thing I did was strip the truck to the frame (excluding the cab) and painted it RIGHT: I pulled the original motor because of a cracked block. In preparation for the new motor I cleaned up the front half of the frame and the firewall and painted them. |

| The new motor that I dropped in is a 235 6-cylinder bolted to the original three-speed transmission. My Grandpa came over with his tractor to put the motor between the frame rails |
The engine nestled in its home in the frame. It looks alot better than how the original motor did. Shortly after the motor was in, I masked off the engine compartment and painted the block chevy orange. |
