This Page is dedicated to the memory of my cousin Dennis Mermilliod, 1975-1998.

The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pasteurs: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I stared into the faces of my related
I cried for the despair of my fallen kin
I asked God what his intent was with my dearly beloved
Who had never commited a sin
He was dealt a deadly hand at birth
Never had a fighting chance to exist
He shared his love for God and his family
Until the day came for him to cease and desist
You will be missed o' wise one
Your life has taught me much
You have shown me how to live and laugh and cry, and scream
You have shown me how to love with your touch
Be strong o' wise one
For you are better off where you are
For here, among the mortal realm you never had a chance
You my dealry beloved are much better off where you are.
