Sentier de la presqu'Ile
This place is just out of montreal. When you can out of Montreal near Repentigny, follow the blue signs to Sentier de la presqu'Ile and you will get there. It is in Le Gardeur, you can't miss it if you follow the signs.
Take the highway 40 (coming from montreal) exit on Charlemagne. Make a left at the stop (you will pass under the highway), then another left. Turn right on the first road you see (notice a gaz station). Follow this road for a couple of km and then after the first stop, look for Jean-Pierre street make a left and there you are. If you don't trust my direction call them at (450) 585-8015.
I found out about this place when I was racing. There was a race here taking place every tuesday night at 7:00 PM from mid-may trough mid-august. It was a very fast race. People riding almost slick tires because the average race speed was around 30 km/h. With only two smalls climbs, the circuit was really fast.
So if you wanna get into the spirit of mountain biking this is the place to go without having to go 100 miles away!
If you can get a map of the trails do it because as it goes left and right, you will get mixed up… Unfortunately I don't have any maps, only memories and
Pictures.
Here's a map:
The red lines with numbers are cycle paths. I made the pink arrows to "help" you find your way
