Lorraine

I found out about this site a few years ago when a provincial race was held there. The event has stop because the residents of Lorraine were complaining about all the mud dragged into the streets… Mountain biking there is pretty fun. The trails were use by 4X4 and dirt bikes but now only biking and hiking is allowed.

Lorraine is located near highway 640.

There is a parking that you can use near the community center. Best things is: IT'S TOTALLY FREE!

There is about 25-30 km of trails. The best thing is to go around a couple of time and then figure out which circuit you like best. There is a little map when you enter the trails but it I not very accurate. There is way more than drawn on the map!

The trails are nice and smooth. Mostly single track with a couple of wide places. The good thing is that it's near Montreal.
