WCW Starrcade Pay Per View Report Washington D.C , December 27th , 1998 8-11 PM
Eric Bischoff earlier in the evening demanded that the Horseman (Including Mongo) be banned from the building tonight. The Announcers go over their predictions for the Double Main Events.


Mene Gene Okerland opens the show in the ring and plugs the WCW Hotline. Gene talks a little bit about WCW Insider Bob Ryder and hands the mic over to announcer David Penzer.


Kidman defeated Rey Mysterio and Juventud Guerrera by pinfall - Throughout the match Rey Mysterio Jr and Kidman double teammed Juventud Guerrera who was representing Eddie Guerrero's Latino World Order. Eddie eventually joined us at ringside and nailed Kidman. Kidman managed to regain enough energy to get to the top rope and comes down onto Juventude for the victory. Afterwards Eddie Guerrero freaked out in the ring because Juventud didnt win the match. Eddie challenged Kidman to a match and Kidman accepted.


Kidman defeated Eddie Guerrero by pinfall - Eddie challenged Kidman to a match after the Triple threat match in which Kidman accepted. They waited on a referee and finnally the match began as a ref joined them in the ring. Juventud and Mysterio stuck around afterwards and got envolved. Juvy nailed Kidman and Mysterio nailed Eddie near the end of the match. Kidman got time after Rey Jr nailed Eddie to climb the ropes and nail Eddie with the Shooting Star Press for the win


Norman Smiley defeated Prince Iaukea by pinfall - Smiley was in complete control throughtout the match ,Smiley applied several armbars to wrench the arms and then applied his arm submission the Normans Conquest for the win. The Magic Man Norman Smiley is a roll.


Scott Hall came out before his match and grabbed the mic , he talked about how his main man Kevin Nash has the opportunity of a lifetime and that he doesnt have to prove anything to anyone but himself. Hall said to the fans that he cant wait to get rid of 1998 , which *no secret* was not his year. Hall went on to say that 1999 will be "His" year in wrestling.


Flasbacks of Scott Hall / Bam Bam Bigelow and their footage of the past few weeks going into Starrcade from Nitro. Shows Hall getting attacked Backstage and Hall attacking Bam Bam backstage from various Nitro's.


Perry Saturn defeated The Cat Ernest Miller by pinfall - Very Slow paced matchup , not very exciting. Ending had Sunny Onoo in the ring holding Saturn as The Cat was going for a superkick. The Cat missed as Saturn moved out of the way and nailed Sunny Onoo. Saturn then nailed the Death Valley Driver for the win.


Scott Norton and Brian Adams defeated Finlay and Flynn by pinfall - Norton and Adams the nWo team got the win , when Flynn nailed Vincent off the apron and when he turned around Norton nailed Flynn with the powerbomb for the win.

Eric Bischoff was interviewed at the entrance way by Mene Gene Okerland. Bischoff said Hi to the First Family and once again mentioned that he was sorry for what he had done to Ric Flair. Bischoff went on about how Flair is a cheap bastard and how he never paid a dime.


Promos of the Chris Jericho / WCW TV Champion Konann feud were shown. Clips of the match on Nitro in which Jericho lost the belt to Konnan. Clips also shown of Jericho attacking Konnan on Nitro weeks later.


Konnan defeated Chris Jericho by pinfall to regain TV Belt - Jericho came out to ringside with Ralphus and wished the Jericho-holics a happy holiday. Jericho mentioned that he didnt know what Rowdy Rowdy meant or what Bowdy Bowdy meant. Jericho went on about being the WCW Icon and Superstar before Konnan appeared. During the match Jericho had a chance to pin Konnan but was very arrogant and decided to slowly cover him. It cost him. Konnan later locked on the Tequilla Sunrise and Jericho cleanly taped out to the Tequilla Sunrise. Hmm Just a Thought , Jericho taps? Loses? Hmmm WWF?


Eric Bischoff defeated Ric Flair by pinfall - Total Slugfest and all out brawl in which both men got busted open during the match. Bischoff was locked in the Figure Four when Curt Hennig came out and gave Bischoff some brass knuckles. Bischoff nailed Flair with them and when the Referee finnally woke up from his Short "Knock-Out" Sequence he counted 3 and Bischoff sent Flair packing.


Diamond Dallas Page defeated The Giant by pinfall - Right away during the match DDP attacked the Giant and attempted the Diamond Cutter. The attempt failed but DDP kept at the onslaught and continued to beat on the Giant. DDP was in the ring ready to set the Giant up when Bret Hart came to the ring behind the refs back and nailed The Giant on accident when DDP ducked. Later The Giant put DDP on the top rope and DDP nailed the Giant with the Diamond Cutter off the top rope for the win


Kevin Nash defeated Goldberg by pinfall - It was a NO DQ match so this match was a little intense. Disco Inferno came out and attacked Goldberg. As you probably know Disco believes he is Nash's friend. Bam Bam then came down and then Scott Hall who had a shirt on , Hall had a taser and he nailed Goldberg with a taser and Nash setup Goldberg for the security powerbomb and nailed him with the Jacknife Powerbomb for the win!@ Nash is new WCW CHAMP!
