Campsite Rules picture


1. All groups arriving and departing must check in and out with warden staff.
2. Groups staying in the house must inspect all rooms on arrival and inform warden staff of any problems .
3. The leader in charge must complete a check in form after settling in any problems should be noted in this form.
4. From September to June groups staying in the house are asked to cater for the 2/3 wardens on duty.
5. No alcohol is allowed on site, the only exception to this is altar wine.
6. The house is to be kept tidy at all times.
7. On the day of departure the warden will give groups tasks to be carried out in house or on the site.
8. After 11:30 noise is to be kept to the bare minimum.
9. Groups going on night hikes are asked to keep quiet when passing neighbours houses. All lands outside Kilcully are to be considered out of bounds.
10. Groups should respect the property of Kilcully. The group must pay for any damage done to House/Site/Property within two weeks. 11. The entrance to the dining hall is through the back not through the kitchen.
12. The bill should be paid the night before departure. Please let the warden staff know if you have paid a deposit.
13. A fire drill is to be carried out on the night of arrival or the morning after. The duty warden will arrange a time with the leader in charge.
14. Please leave a copy of your program with the warden .This is to help the warden staff find you in the event of emergency or phone calls.
15. The assault course is out of bounds unless a leader is present, The abseiling tower is out of bounds unless an activity instructor is present.
16. Any sections wishing to use Kilcully for a day hike must inform the Scout shop on the Friday before the hike.


Wardens are there to help the Camp Chief and Deputy Camp Chief run the campsite. Your co-operation is asked for at all times - Kilcully Managment and Warden Service.
