Tuck and Lucas Weigh-in Big on FolsomWith a slight wind blowing in the morning, the boats blasted off to what would be a day of big weights on Folsom Lake. The spawn is in full swing, and the big largemouth can be found shallow, even in plain sight. The anglers at the top of the list today were targeting those fish, and it really payed off for them! Is it possible to have two bags over 20 pounds on Folsom lake in one tournament? Well, it happened today. Mike Tuck and Justin Lucas won today's event with 21.65 pounds! They had a beautiful 7.6 pound largemouth that took big fish and was a big help in getting them the win. Mike told us all how he caught the big fish as well: "As I pulled up on her, she boogied right away, and I lost her. So I pulled out a swimbait and threw it in the general area, and she came out of nowhere and slammed it!" Awesome fish and awesome finish guys! In second place was the team of Davis and Rambeau who we JUST behind Mike and Justin with 21.25 pounds. It was a very solid bag, and even though they didn't get the win, they sure did an awesome job today. They were also bed fishing, go figure! In third was Preston Henson and Josh Storrs with 17.10 pounds. Very qualty bag, as usual! In fourth was Babcock and Sprock, with over 16 pounds. They won the event held in March, and are working their way up in the AOY points. Great job guys, keep it up. In 5th was Devin Parker and Brian Newman, bringing in 15.6 pounds. |
