September Sessions

I bought this video less than twenty-four hours ago, and I have already watched it three times. It is an excellent video.

Pros:Filmed using 16mm film, it combines beautiful visuals with vivid audio. The music used is not your usual hardcore/punk fare, which is a relief. The waves, as the Chob puts it, are as good as waves get. Big, clean, and hollow waves reel for hundreds of yards and the surfers (Slater, Machado, Dorian, Egan, Gerlach, and Williams) get pitted at every twist of the reef. The most impressive part of the video is one wave in which Kelly takes off as the wave is pitching over him, and comes out of the barrel a few seconds later.

Cons:It is a very short video, at less than 28 minutes in length. However, the 28 minutes are golden, and I guess it's better that they leave it as is instead putting in some filler footage.
